Q: How long is the warranty?
A: It has a 5 year warranty.
Q: Hi, Can I use my David Clark H10-26 headset on a Pilatus PC-12?
A:
The Pilatus PC-12 will have the standard dual jacks and/or a 6-pin Redel jack. In order to use the H10-26 headset you would need to get a helicopter to fixed wing adapter. It's not clear if you already have the H10-26 or are considering buying one. If you already have it, then the helicopter to fixed wing adapter will get you going. If you are considering buying one, I would suggest a different headset that doesn't require an adapter. For example, the David Clark H10-13.4 is a similar headset that will have the standard dual plugs that you can use in the PC-12.
Q: Is it HIGH or LOW IMPEDANCE? Thank you very much.
A: This is a high impedance headset for general aviation. It is for civilian use and is not a military headset.
Q:
I am a helicopter pilot and fly the EC145. I want to know what kind of headphones do you recommend, especially headphones that allow you to use low and high impedance?
A: If you are looking for a headset that is capable of both high and low impedance, we would suggest the David Clark H10-66 headset instead. It is a unique dual impedance headset for use in civilian and military style aircraft.
Q: What is the difference between H10-26 and h10-13h??
A:
Both the David Clark H10-26 and H10-13H are passive helicopter headsets. While very similar, there are slight differences when comparing both side by side. The H10-13H is lighter (16.5oz) than the H10-26 (21oz), however the H10-26 has a slightly better noise reduction rating (24dB) than the H10-13H (23dB). Additional differences include the H10-26's foam air/flow pillow head pad that automatically adjusts to each individuals head contour, but the H10-13H will have more head padding, as well as the H10-13H's FAA TSOs C57 Cat. B and C58a certifications. A great way to compare headsets is by using our Headset Comparison Tool.
