The FAA will be changing the effective dates for a number of VFR charting products and the “effective to ” date printed on the affected charts is no longer accurate.ย We encourage users to make to hand-write the new Effective To Date on any physical charts in your possession.ย Any MyPilotStore customers that have an FAA Chart Standing order for these charts will automatically have their ship dates adjusted so that you have the new charts on time.
October 8, 2020 changes to September 10, 2020
All FAA Charts with a printed “Effective To” date of October 8, 2020 are being adjusted to expire 28 days earlier on September 10, 2020.ย These include:
- Albuquerque VFR Sectional Chart
- Chicago Helicopter Route, Chicago VFR Sectional, Chicago Terminal Area Chart
- Dawson VFR Sectional Chart
- Hawaiian Islands VFR Sectional Chart
- Phoenix VFR Sectional Chart and Phoenix Terminal Area Chart
- Puerto Rico / Virgin Islands VFR Terminal Area Chart

December 3, 2020 changes to November 5, 2020
All FAA Charts with a printed “Effective To” date of December 3, 2020 are being adjusted to expire 28 days earlier on November 5, 2020.ย These include:
- Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart
- Green Bay VFR Sectional Chart
- Seattle VFR Sectional and Seattle Terminal Area Chart
March 26, 2020 or April 23, 2020 that Expire After February 25, 2021
All FAA Charts with a printed “Effective FROM” date of March 26, 2020 or April 23, 2020 that expire after February 25, 20201 are are being adjusted to expire February 25, 2021.ย These include:
- Juneau VFR Sectional Chart
- Ketchikan VFR Sectional Chart
- Point Barrow VFR Sectional Chart
- Whitehorse VFR Sectional Chart
