The plastic folders can be used to store personalized information and notes about your current flight. Airport, Airspace, FBO's etc. This is the main reason I purchased.
Would benefit from smaller low profile rings. Fine for right handed people.

Q: I'm concerned about the leg strap having been reported as too long for some legs. Is this really a problem?
A: The leg strap it self is 10.5" relaxed. When stretched out it is almost 17". This knee board has a side pouch that goes on the side of your leg, the leg strap is attached to it. This pouch adds another 4" to the strap. This knee board should fit almost anyone.
