The Harper Aviation company was founded by Rick Harper to design and manufacture the Ultimate Kneeboard. All Harper Aviation products are proudly USA made in Eagle, Idaho. Rick has been a pilot since 1980, served as a figher pilot in the US Air Force, and now flies commercial for Delta Air Lines. After earning his civilian flight instructors rating, students and fellow pilots asked where they could get a kneeboard like the one Rick was using. Unable to find a comparable kneeboard on the civilian market, Rick decided to design a kneeboard of his own. After months of research and ideas from other pilots, Rick began to manufacture what he now calls the Ultimate Kneeboard.
