Q: Will this bag with or without fit under the average seat on a airplane?
A: Although the exact size of the bag may vary by airline carrier, typically carry on luggage that is 20 inches wide, 17 inches deep and about 11 inches tall will fit under most airline seats. At 15 x 11 x 10, this bag falls within that range.

Q: Are the outside dimensions the dimensions of the entire bag, or the larger, non-laptop bag? I wish to know because the dimensions of the laptop bag are labelled clearly but I don't know if that makes the other bag 10"w or 7"w.
A: The Outside dimensions of the bag are 15 x 11 x 10 inches. The Laptop compartment dimensions are x 11 x 3 inches. The interior dimensions of the cooler section are 14" x 8" with a 7" depth. There is also a separate cooler pocket on top of the main section and it measure 14" x 8" and 2" deep.
