Used to connect the Garmin GDL 39 ADS-B receiver to a Garmin aera 796 or 795 or to an Apple iPad. These devices will support up to 30 traffic targets displayed via TIS-B Format. They will also receive FIS-B Weather. The devices can be connected through a wireless Bluetooth connection or via the serial cable. The GDL 39 support connections to multiple Bluetooth devices. The GDL 39 is intented to be physically wired to only one display device.
NOTE: This Power/Data cable is intended to be used with a Garmin GDL39 receiver that you already own. It will not work by itself. If you do not yet have the receiver, we recommend getting the bundled Garmin GDL39 ADS-B Receivera> package for this GPS that already includes this cable.
