30-day Money Back GuaranteeNavigate with Garmin caliber GPS data on the mobile device of your choice. The GLO 2 receiver brings you the best of both worlds by combining GPS and GLONASS receivers with Bluetooth wireless technology so you can enjoy precise position information on your iPad, iPhone or Android device.
The Garmin Glo now provides GPS location services for up to 4 Bluetooth devices at once! GLO wirelessly connects up to four (4) Apple and Android devices via Bluetooth simultaneously.
The Accuracy of GPS and GLONASS*
GLO 2 can receive position information from both the GPS and GLONASS
satellite constellations, allowing it to connect to up to 24 more satellites
than devices that rely on GPS alone. This allows GLO 2 to lock on to satellites
approximately 20% faster and remain connected even at high speed. What’s more,
GLO 2 updates its position information at 10 times per second; that’s up to 10
times more often than the GPS receivers in many mobile devices.
* GLONASS or Global Navigation Satellite System, is a radio-based satellite navigation system operated for the Russian government by the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces. It both complements and provides an alternative to the United States' Global Positioning System (GPS) and is currently the only alternative navigational system in operation with global coverage and of comparable precision.
Set It up and Go
Using Bluetooth technology, the GLO 2 receiver wirelessly pairs to your
mobile device. Just set GLO 2 within range of your mobile device, and in
moments, you’ll be receiving the GLO 2 receiver’s position data. It has up to 13
hours of battery life to keep your position on long trips, and charging GLO 2
between uses is easy with the included USB cable or optional 12/24 V vehicle
power cable. The optional friction mount keeps the receiver safe on your
dashboard and in full view of satellites.

Q: Hello, is this Garmin compatible with FD Pro X? Thanks
A: Yes, this will work with any GPS enabled app including the Jeppesen Flight Deck.
Q: Does that work with foreflight? I am looking for an ADSB-In receiver for a R-22 Helicopter. I know that sentry works but I am looking for a cheaper option. Thanks for your help!
A: Yes, this is compatible with Foreflight.
Q: Is this device also compatible with foreflight or just garmin?
A: Yes, this is compatible with Foreflight.
Q: Hello. Does this device records tracks by itself, or it should be connected to some other navigation softwares? Does it record pitch , roll and yaw (AHRS)?
A: If you want to record your route without being connected to another device, you might want to check out the Dual XGPS160 instead which will provide that functionality. If you want route recording and AHRS (plus GPS receiver), I would suggest the Stratus 3 ADS-B Receiver which will provide all functions.
Q: Is this bluetooh only or can i hard wire it into my tablet too?
A: From a connection standpoint, the Garmin GLO uses Bluetooth only.
Q: Does it require a service contract?
A: No, the Garmin GLO does not require a service contract.
Q: Can the GLO connect to multiple devises simultaneously or just one device at a time?
A: The Garmin GLO can only connect to one device at a time. If you are trying to connect to multiple devices, we would recommend the Bad Elf Pro that allows you to connect to up to 5 Apple iOS devices simultaneously.
Q: so can this gps be used for both flight and in car ipad apps? Will it work with forflight apps?
A: Yes, it can be used with almost all GPS enabled apps for air and land navigation. Yes, it will also work with ForeFlight.
