Holding patterns are one of the toughest parts of instrument training. This set of two tools from Otto Pilot helps you see the hold and pick the right entry, step by step.

Hold Visualizer: set the wind direction, your aircraft's heading and position, the holding radial, left or right turns, and the inbound course to get a full picture of the hold. Then move the airplane to fly it through the pattern and show wind correction on the inbound and outbound legs. Printed instructions are inside.

Entry Solver: choose right or left turns, line up your aircraft heading, and find the outbound heading on the outer ring. The color code gives you the entry: blue for direct, green for parallel and red for teardrop.
