Great for iPad - very stable actually

  • By Martin from San Diego, CA on Thursday, August 29, 2024
  • Pros: iPad clipped stable, easy.
  • Review: I was looking for an iPad mount on my knee that’s actually stable, since I read and saw lots of others are too much wiggle. This one is easy to clip the iPad and very stable, good buy.

Compact and comfortable

  • By Carlos from Lexington Park MD USA on Monday, May 16, 2022
  • Pros: Fits all iPads, take little space in flight bag. Can be used with your favorite iPad case.
  • Review: This replaced a previous version of myClip. I took one star because the clip seems taller than needed. The older version was more compact.

MyClip Multi Kneeboard Strap

  • By Robert from Avila Beach CA USA on Sunday, April 24, 2022
  • Pros: Light weight, low profile, stays in place
  • Review: I fly an RV-14 which has a control stick and I use an iPad Mini that has a low profile case. My iPad Mini case has a slot on the side that holds an Apple Pen. The MyClip kneeboard is perfect for my needs. Low profile, doesn't interfere with the control stick and stays in place. I usually forget that it's there. I have a Garmin G3X system that provides most of my flight info but I still use the Foreflight app to display approach plates and the scratch pad to copy ATIS and clearances. My only issue using the MyClip strap is that in order to access the Apple Pen to write on the iPad, I have to unclip the right clip, remove and then replace the Apple Pen and then re-clip the strap. I find that this is no big deal. The iPad still stays perfectly in place on my knee.

Too big for iPad Mini

  • By Boatguy from Santa Rosa, CA on Thursday, August 26, 2021
  • Pros: Inexpensive
  • Review: This "new" model is too large for the iPad Mini. The clips conceal too much of the screen and block access to various touch areas. The strap is will not stay in position to hold the smaller screen.

Works perfectly

  • By I don’t have a nickname from Williamson, GA on Friday, June 04, 2021
  • Pros: I wish it came in fluorescent purple. Alas...
  • Review: The thing works just as u think it should. If there any negative reviews, I would have to disagree with them. It isn’t rocket science. Hook it to either side of tablet and strap it on the leg of choice. The tablet stays where you put it.

I like this strap. Everyone should have one if you don’t have a mount for your tablet.

Over priced but works great

  • By Flying Bryan from Los Angeles CA on Monday, April 05, 2021
  • Pros: Works great and does not get in the way of flying. Can be used on most anything that is not too thick but did work on my ipad with a case great.
  • Review: Over priced for what it is but it does work great for what it is. I used it with a full sized ipad for flying in both a R22 helicopter and a S-76 Sikorsky in the same day and works great in both aircraft for my full sized iPad with Foreflight. I would buy again but it is way over priced. I should sell for $10 to $15 at most.

Love, Love, Love This!

  • By A Customer from FL USA on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
  • Pros: Easy to transport, easy to use
  • Review: I have a Ram iPad holder for my yoke, which works great in some planes. However, as a CFI, I switch planes a lot and the Ram has some drawbacks. It's not all that convenient to carry around, iPad overheats in the summer due to its position in the sun, and in some planes, there just isn't enough room to have the iPad on the yoke without it either obstructing my view of the panel or banging on my leg. This clip solves all those problems. It's easy to carry around and keeps the iPad accessible but still out of the way. Would highly recommend!

  • Pros: Works great and does not get in the way of flying. Can be used on most anything that is not too thick but did work on my ipad with a case great.
  • Cons: Should have clip as well as velcro strap and should have pad to prop up iPad at top. I can make something but for $30 and there cost is maybe $3 it could come with a pad to prop up iPad.
