MyPilotPro Swivel GoPro airplane mount is an advancement from the original MyPilotPro GoPro Airplane Mount in that it can swivel in any angle or direction. The mount is made of the same thick aircraft aluminum coupled with stainless steel and aluminum hardware as the original mount but this time we teamed up with Ram Mounts to add the camera attachment. You can attach it to any tie down on your aircraft without any tools needed and the cam lever can exert 400 lbs of pressure so you know it is attached securely. Neoprene washers throughout the mount ensure that any vibration can not make its way to the camera. This mount is truly simple, secure, and does not require any tools to mount!
This mount is compatible with action cameras including all GoPro cameras and the Garmin Virb. It is universal for all General Aviation and Light Sport Aircraft. As long as your aircraft has a tie down ring, the MyPilotPro Swivel can attach to it. It weighs just 7.4 oz including all hardware and fits in the palm of your hand.

- Review: I installed this on the tie-down of my Maule MX7 tail dragger so I could capture the touchdowns on landings. The instructions were very clear and the installation is dead easy. It seems to hold the Sessions GoPro firmly in its mount. The cammed lever for securing seems to put a lot of pressure on the mount and so am not expecting any problems. Further there is a cotter pin as a last resort should the cam and nut holding the rig tight work loose. I have not yet flown with it dues to the weather here in Central Florida but I am expecting no problems.
