Q: Hello, I have been studying for the Canadian PPL written exam. I have tried many ways of studying in the past few weeks but am convinced an audio CD would be most efficient. Does this CD contain all the information I will need to be success full on the written?
A: Yes, this audio CD is a complete course for passing the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge (Written) Exam. It covers all of the different knowledge areas that are included on the actual exam. However, this CD does NOT contain any information about the Canadian PPL license. It is strictly based on the FAA exam for US based pilots.

Q: Have these CDs been updated for 2008 and if not will they be? Are you shipping 2007 or 2008 version? The one customer review for this item indicates that it sometimes references written material, which you have linked to the 2008 Private Pilot Exam Guide. However, you also responded to a question regarding instrument prep. software that the software package was updated for 2008 but that you are currently shipping the 2007 version. If these CDs are similar in that respect and reference the Exam Guide but the guide is 2008 and the audio CD package is 2007 there may well be some compatibility issues and inability to follow along with the charts, etc. referenced by the narrator. Thank you. I appreciate this service. It is uncommon and very helpful.
A: Gleim updated the Audio CD Course for the 2008 edition, but they do not update every year. Currently the audio review is 100% up-to-date, but they may not update next year unless the FAA has some major changes in the material. All of the Gleim study software and books are updated every year - usually around the end of July or first of August. We have been shipping the 2008 materials since August 2007.
