Also can stand the light on its tailpiece on a flat surface. White light is very bright, good for preflighting but a bit too intense for instrument-panel use in the cockpit (I have a dim white unit for that). Would have preferred a unit that runs on two AA batteries rather than three AAA, but overall a really fine little unit.
