Of course, the old FAA performance charts are still a hit and miss (better in the book than on screen). I was out of aviation for a number of years and just getting back into it, and this also served as a great overall refresher. Took the test 2 weeks after receiving the product and scored a 96%. The proctor said, "We don't usually see scores like that around here."

Q: i need to study for the test of airline pilot at my country. I dony know the differrence between the ASA ATP book, and the Gleim ATP book, are both the same? Which is the best ??? Thanks.
A: The key differences between the Gleim Airline Transport Pilot Written Exam Guide and the ASA Airline Transport Pilot Test Prep Book are;
- The ASA book includes a seperate ATP Test Supplment Book (the same that you would receive in the FAA Testing Center) whereas the Gleim book includes the figures throughout the test prep book next to the questions.
- The ASA book covers both fixed wing and helicopter whereas the Gleim focuses exclusively on fixed wing.
- The ASA book covers ATP and Flight Engineer. The Gleim book focuses exclusively on ATP.
- The ASA book covers more ratings than the Gleim book (see below).

Q: How many questions are included on the add-on for an ATP rotorcraft if I already have the ATP airplane? Does the ASA ATP book have the questions for ATP rotorcraft clearly marked? Does the CD make it easier to find the specific questions I need to study? Thanks.
A: Yes, all of the questions for each rating are clearly noted. With the ATP PrepWare software you can setup to practice test for the exact test that you will be taking (ATP Rotorcraft Add-On) . We do not have the exact number of questions that are on the ATP Rotorcraft Add-On rating.
