The only thing I would like to see better is the quality of the E6B and navigation plotter. These products are good for practice, but not long term use. I would also suggest a Sectional training manual. To really get in depth with how to accurately interpret, use and understand the sectional charts.

A: Yes, the software has all of the questions and answers in the FAA Private Pilot Test Bank. It will create simulated tests or you can focus on specific knowledge areas.

Q: can I get Mac compatible software
A: None of the Gleim software is Mac compatible. For Mac, we recommend getting the ASA Private Pilot Prepware instead which is Mac and Windows compatible.

Q: I want to prepare to take the FAA test to begin lessons. Will this packet help me to pass this test? After successful completion, will I qualify to take this test? How would you compare your products to the King school products?
A: This kit contains all the basic components to start your training. Most importantly, it includes the Test Prep software, for your FAA written exam. You will need an endorsement from a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) before you can take the exam; this kit meets the criteria as a home study course so your CFI will have no problem giving that endorsement. The King Schools product is essentially the same information as the Gleim.
