Pilot epaulets, also referred to as epaulets, epaulettes, shoulder bars, or stripes, are a tradition expanded from the military, and are now a standard for most flight crew members.
These pilot epaulets are used by major airlines, corporate flight departments and flight schools around the world. These traditional slide on shoulder boards are constructed of quality fabrics, lock stitched to prevent unraveling. They are 3 3/8" long with standard 3/8" wide stripes (official military braid).
