Cockpit USA "Movie Hero" Top Gun II Navy G-1 Jacket Overview:

The original Cockpit USA Top Gun jacket was created in 1985 and first appeared on Tom Cruise in the iconic "Top Gun" movie in 1986.

Now Cockpit USA is pleased to offer you the second NEW Movie Hero Top Gun! In the interest of historical accuracy, there were significant changes to both jackets by adding a vintage rack stitch knit waistband and cuffs. Neither jackets have the "USN" punched through the wind flap as we made them comply with the early model spec G-1 jackets which did not have this feature. For authenticity, the veg tanned goatskin leather and the patches have been treated with a special vintage treatment, giving it a worn in patina. Decorated with all 17 patches and the mil spec heavy USN Anchor pin, this aviation jacket with a new back "blood chit" honors the new 2022 release of the Top Gun 2 movie. As the original, it is an unsurpassed piece of naval and movie history.

The jacket's shell is made from soft and supple antique lambskin leather, which feels like an old friend from day one. The antique lambskin will further distress the more you wear it, giving you that desirable "battle worn" look and adding even more character to the jacket. /p>

Sizes: The jacket is sized to vintage specs and runs slightly snug. So if you want to have a more full fitting jacket you should order one size up from your regular size. Otherwise if you want a movie star look wear the jacket snugly over a white T-shirt and jeans and you are ready to hop on your motorcycle and drive down to the Naval Air Station and suit up for a hop in your F-14 Tomcat.

For an accurate measurement, you'll need a flexible tape measure (inches) and someone to help you place and read the measuring tape.  Measure the biggest circumference around the chest and keep the measuring tape horizontal, wrap around the biggest girth of the chest, keeping the measuring tape up and close to the arm pits.
