Nomex Flight Gloves provide comfort, the fine tactile sense needed for
flying, and functional safeguards from military specification modeling. These
Mil-Spec Nomex gloves are the same type used by American military pilots since
the 1960's.
These Nomex Flight Gloves Feature:
- Extended Length Glove
- 100% Nomex Backs (heat and fire resistant to 800 F)
- Soft Cowhide Palms
- Double Reinforced Stitching
- Nomex Thread
- Constructed to Military Issue MIL-DTL-81188C
- Touchscreen Compatible material added to finger tips of Thumb, Middle, and Index fingers.
Determine your size for Nomex Flight Gloves:
Place your hand out in a relaxed, loose manner like you were waving hello to
someone. Measure around the fullest part of your palm (in the V formed by
your thumb and index finger). You should order the size closest to your
hand measurement in inches. For example, if your palm measure 8.75", order
a size 9 glove. These Nomex Flight Gloves do stretch a bit so the
initial fit should be a little snug.
