SlideDown LT Aircraft Tie Down System (set of 3) Overview:

The SlideDown Tiedowns are an exceptional new product for securing your aircraft to ground anchors. Pilots have been raving about the ease and simplicity of securing their aircraft with SlideDowns. 

The powder coated slide mechanism is made from aircraft grade aluminum, the vinyl coated hooks prevent any scratching of the aircraft surfaces and the rope is braided not far from his shop using a combination of polyester and nylon with a tensile strength of approximately 8,000 pounds. And best of all, using a SlideDown is super fast. There is nothing worse than tying knots in the pouring rain. With the SlideDown there is no more tying knots or messing with old, rusted, chains.

Includes one SlideDown tie-down for each wing plus a tail SlideDown and a convenient carry bag.   Made in the USA.

IMPORTANT USAGE NOTE:  The SlideDown LT 1/4" Sta-Set rope is recommended for Light Sport aircraft and recreation uses.  For most general aviation single engines and light twin engine aircraft, we recommend the SlideDown with a 7/16" kernmantle braided rope.
