Better to repair than to replace

  • Pros: This is an inexpensive way to totally rejuvenate an older headset.
  • Cons: No cons I can think of.
  • Review: This is the best option to revitalize an older headgear with worn out ear pads. A 5 minute job for a like new headset. The sound deadening foam fit perfectly and the old ear pads slid right off. The new ear pads were a little difficult to get on but a little stretching and they will fit.

  • Pros: Makes the ear protectors as good as new. These ear protectors are of higher quality and durability than other commonly available models.
  • Cons: The outside cushions are very different to fit onto the cups of the ear protectors.
  • Review: My ear protectors are at least 20 years old. I was very surprised and pleased to see that I could still get repair parts for them. You would have to spend at least twice the amount of the cost of the replacement kit to get a pair of ear protectors close to the quality of the original ear protectors.

  • Cons: Shipping - Because they were sent via USPS it tool nearly two weeks for them to actually show up. MPS Sent them right away, but USPS is horrible.
