A: At 6'' 3" we usually recommend the long sizes.  It will give you some extra length in both the torso and the arms.

Q: Is the collar material removeable

A: No, it is not removable on this jacket. But, the Cockpit Navy G-1 Antique Lamb Leather Jacket does have a removable collar.

Q: What size would you order if you are a 2xlt

A: You''re probably a 50 or 52 inch chest. But, I would recommend getting your chest measured at a men''s clothing store.  Or, if you want to try it at home, watch this video and get the help of a second person.  Once you know your chest size, go one size larger.  For example, if you measure a 50" chest, I''d go with the 52 Tall.  If you measure a 52" chest, go with the 54" Tall in this jacket.

Q: Are the sleeves on tall sizes extra length as well as the waist length?

A: Yes, the tall sizes will add about an inch to the sleeves.

A: I'm sorry the collar is not removable on this jacket. But, the Cockpit Navy G-1 Antique Lamb Leather Jacket does have a removable collar.

Q: Do either the "Modern" or "Antique" G-1 coats have a pocket on the LEFT INSIDE to be used to carry a .45cal Pistol, as was carried by Pilots in WWII? I'm looking for a jacket with said pocket, and the "USN" Punched into the zipper cover on the inside left. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your help.

A: Both of these jackets are have inside pockets and both have the zipper flap. The Navy G-1 Antique Lamb Leather Jacket's zipper flap is blank and has nothing punched into it.The inside pocket is on the left side and it is a traditional vertical pocket, top entry that is about 8.5 inches deep. The US Navy Issue Mil Spec Type G-1 Jacket does have USN punched into the flap and the pocket is also on the left side. This pocket is a side entry pocket that is horizontal instead of vertical. This pocket is about 10.5 inches deep.

A: This Mil Spec G-1 Jacket is entirely Made in the USA!

Q: Does this Navy G-1 leather flight jacket have a neck collar button closure? My current jacket does.

A: Yes,  there is a leather strap on the left side underneath the collar that connects with a button, and on the right side there are two additional buttons.

Q: Are the knit cuffs & waistband wool, wool blend or synthetic?

A: The knit cuffs and waistband on this G-1 Jacket is knit is a blend of 64% nylon, 33% wool, and 3% lycra.

Q: does this jacket have USN lettering under back of collar??

A: It does not have USN under the back of the collar however it does have USN on the inside seam of the zipper lining.

Q: Does this Jacket have a hidden pen pocket under the left pocket flap?

A: Yes it does.
