uAvionix AV-HSI PMA for AV-30 Display Overview:

The uAvionix AV-HSI PMA enables essential course and glideslope guidance for ILS (Instrument Landing System) and Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) approaches.

Interfacing with most panel-mounted GPS navigators through three ARINC 429 channels (2 RX, 1 TX), the AV-HSI PMA accessory for the AV-30 communicates course and glideslope guidance for display on the AV-30 during GPS and ILS precision instrument approaches and navigation.

• SEAMLESS INTEGRATION: The AV-HSI easily connects with the AV-30 display, expanding its capability to display additional guidance, including course and glideslope guidance for
  ILS and GPS approaches.
•  MULTI-CHANNEL COMPATIBILITY: With three ARINC-429 channels and four serial ports, the AV-HSI interfaces seamlessly with most panel-mounted GPS Navigators and
  easily connects with NAV/COMM radios to accurately exchange navigation data.
•  CENTRALIZED SYNCHRONIZATION: The AV-HSI can act as a hub for multiple AV-30 displays, enabling them to share navigation guidance and synchronize essential data to
  reduce pilot workload. This includes heading bug, barometric pressure setting, and Outside Air Temperature (OAT).
•  COMPACT FORM-FACTOR: Measuring just 2.3 by 2.3 by 0.6 inches and designed to remote mount, this accessory accommodates a wide range of aircraft types and sizes.

The uAvionix AV-HSI PMA includes four serial ports for connections to NAV/COMM radios and to act as a hub between multiple a href="https://www.mypilotstore.com/mypilotstore/sep/13934">AV-30’s. With the AV-HSI, multiple connected AV-30’s can receive navigation guidance as well as synchronized barometric and heading bug settings and OAT data.
