For CHARTS not PLATES!

  • Pros: Best for CHARTS.
  • Cons: Not for approach plates
  • Review: As to the person who wrote that they "only show one side of a chart", this product is designed to hold fold-out CHARTS, such as Low- or High-Enroute Charts. This product should not be used for approach plates: there are other products for that purpose.

    This is a Jeppesen product. Why should it hold non-Jeppesen products?

  • Review: These pockets are the real deal. They hold the Jeppesen Enroute charts perfectly. I keep extras on hand to replace the ones I wear out (which is inevitable with frequent use, but I still get several months of use out of the pockets that I retrieve charts from on a daily basis).

Keeps enroute charts together

  • Pros: Holds charts; well-made
  • Cons: If your binder is near capacity (e.g. TX), this will make it thicker
  • Review: Performs as advertised. I prefer to keep my enroute charts in the binder with the plates, and this works better than loose inserts.

not for naco

  • Pros: works ok for Jeppsen charts if you don't want to see the back
  • Cons: wont fit NACO, cant see the back side
  • Review: I would not recommend these for two reasons: 1. They do not fit NACO approach charts 2. They do not show the front and back of the chart that is inserted. A simple clear slip cover that fits both NACO and Jeppsen procedures would be better.
