Pros: Lightweight, good ANR
Cons: Not for piston planes
Review:
A lightweight headset with good ANR for a jet cockpit. I use it in a CRJ-900 on two to three hour trips regularly with no problems. ANR works even if the intercom is switched off.

Best headset on the market
By Gordon

Pros: Light, compact, effective ANR, no batteries required, and now more durable metal swivel.
Cons: I loved my 850 but the swivel broke like a twig. At least the "8" fixed that problem!
Review:
Great headset especially for long flights. No head fatigue like all the other heavy and bulky ANR headsets.

I would buy this headset again.

Pros: Light, comfortable, very clear communications
Cons: None
Review:
Very comfortable and the ANR is just enough, but not too much. I fly a citation 560 and couldn't be happier with this headset. Wish I would have tried it sooner. No complaints here.

Airman 8

Pros: Light, no batteries for the ANR
Cons: Case is challenging to fit the headset in occasionally
Review:
Great so far, but I have noticed when I have the left cup off my ear for some length of time and go to put it back on my ear when it gets busy, there is a memory to the cup, and it takes a while for it to readjust to my ear. Otherwise it's working well.

Pros: Lightweight, no batteries.
Cons: Ear cups don't cup the entire ear so there is some sound that will get in. When fitted properly, it is great!
Review:
Lightweight, comfortable headset that doesn't require batteries or a heavy volume pack. Great for jets!

I am very happy with this headset. Thank you MyPilotStore for shipping it in time for my trip! Great quality for the money, lightweight, comfortable, easy to use, and compact. I commute so I don’t want to carry something bulky.

Pros: Light weight, great quality
Cons: Noise cancelling is not as good as some headsets

I am very happy with this headset. Thank you MyPilotStore for shipping it in time for my trip! Great quality for the money, lightweight, comfortable, easy to use, and compact. I commute so I don’t want to carry something bulky. It is comfortable enough that I wear the whole flight, more than 4 hours. I had the same Telex before, and still have it and it still works, however after 15 years it is pretty beat up and I wanted a new one.

Good for the price
By Bex

Pros: Price, Clarity
Cons: Not as comfortable, Marginal Noise Cancellation
Review:
4 stars is based on price and meeting the need. Compared to everything on the market it is probably 3 stars at best, but at half of the price as the more expensive models it meets the need on the Airbus. The noise cancellation seems minimal. It exist but isn't as strong as the Bose. The clarity is much better than the company Airman 750 and is more than adequate. The headset starts to give me hot spots about 2 hours into a flight, so I don't love wearing it for longer flight. It also starts to bother my ears at the same time. Most guys go to overhead speaker at altitude so it isn't usually an issue. Again, for the price and what I use it for it is great, but I wouldn't buy it if I was planning to wear it for longer flights or louder flight decks.

Review:
Not what I expected. The ANR isn't as good as some of the other headsets I have tried. I waited for the Airman 8 because I thought it would be comparable to the over the ear headsets. I just don't think you can substitute for an over the ear ANR headset.
