  • Review: I fly a Super Cub with the doors open all summer. Wind noise in the intercom has been a constant problem. I called Bose for advice. That was liked talking to myself. No help At All! Read a piece about a Stearman pilot who used this mic muff and cover. He said it worked great , and he's right! Bought two for front and rear headsets. Well worth the twenty bucks!

  • Review: Fly a Vans RV8. Very noisy. Especially in cruise. Intercom is ok but the second I hit transmit on Bose A20 ATC can barely understand me. Awful. I was shocked this simple cover actually worked.  Be sure to take off your old muff and replace with new longer muff. For me, it was worth the money.

Does the job

  • Pros: Corrected loud cockpit breaking squelch
  • Cons: Expensive! Subtracted a star because of price
  • Review: The plane I fly has a loud cockpit which breaks the mic squelch. Lots of engine and wind noise. These mic covers corrected this problem for the passengers and pilot alike. Thank goodness!
