Now with user-replaceable batteries!

The ReliefBand is a watch-like device worn on the underside side of the wrist for use in the treatment of nausea and vomiting due to motion sickness. When activated, the device emits a low-level electrical current across two small electrodes on its underside. The ReliefBand is the first patented, commercially available Nausea-Vomiting device to reach the marketplace.

Now with the ReliefBand, you have more opportunity to enjoy flying, boating, amusement park rides and other types of travel and entertainment without having motion sickness spoil your good time.

The non-prescription ReliefBand is unlike anything else sold for motion sickness. It offers numerous advantages. First, it is Drug Free. Because it is not a drug, you won't have the headache, drowsiness, dizziness or other side effects typical of most medicinal remedies on the market. Also, instead of having to take something several hours ahead of time, the ReliefBand can be used any time, even after nausea symptoms start. Second, there are no restrictions on consumption of food, beverages or medications with the use of ReliefBand. And finally, unlike medicines, pressure bands, and other passive remedies, with the ReliefBand device you control the level and duration of relief. You can actually feel it helping to control your motion sickness.

Worn like a bracelet or a watch, the ReliefBand uses gentle electrical signals to stimulate a specific nerve in the underside of the wrist. There are five levels of stimulation; adjust the dial to the highest level that feels comfortable. By stimulating the body's nervous system in this fashion, the ReliefBand can be used to relieve the nausea and vomiting symptoms associated with motion sickness.  It is also clinically proven, FDA Cleared wearable technology for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with morning sickness in pregnant women.

Reliefband Features:

  • User replaceable batteries (spare set of batteries available here)
  • Rotary dial adjusts output to one of five power settings.
  • Light indicates operation and low battery condition.
  • Splash-Resistant / Shock Resistant

Uses of Reliefband:

  • Relief from nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness in planes, cars, buses, boats and ships, amusement rides, and trains.
  • Fast relief from the nausea caused by Virtual Realty Gaming

Do not use if you have a cardiac pacemaker.

Nylon strap, batteries and one 0.34 fl. oz. (10 ml) conductivity gel tube are included.

Need to design better cover for battery storage

  • By Lenie from Heath OH USA on Friday, April 21, 2023
  • Pros: Definitely prevents motion sickness
  • Review: This device is great to prevent motion sickness. I have purchased 2 of these and both of them had the rubber covering for the battery storage tear off. Please consider making a change for this coverage of the band.

UNBELIEVABLE!

  • By Curt from Boston, MA area on Friday, June 03, 2022
  • Pros: compact design, light weight, effective
  • Review: Like many, my motion sickness has been severe. I couldn't use a swing or merry-go-round as a kid. Absolutely no spinning amusement park rides. Traveling in a car's back seat is a stomach churning, migraine inducing event. And being on the water - no way! So when a friend recommended this for a recent trip, I was skeptical but I tried it based on his experiences. I recently traveled from the East Coast to Africa, which included a water taxi ride from and to the airport. I was able to do computer work on the plane and traverse the sea in a small, 20 passenger ferry with ZERO motion sickness. This is huge and I highly recommend giving it a try!

The original is still the best

  • By kewpiedoll99 from Clifton NJ USA on Friday, May 20, 2022
  • Pros: Works really well to combat nausea!
  • Review: First, the ReliefBand works. It really works. I have bad motion sickness due to taking antidepressants, and the ReliefBand completely combats that. I also used it on a cruise where we were subjected to hurricane conditions and it saved me.

I had a ReliefBand (original) for about 12 years and it finally bit the dust. About a year ago bought the supposedly improved ReliefBand Premier and it was terrible - I hated the unusual charging cable and the fit was really bad as well. Finally I admitted defeat on that one and bought another of the original ReliefBand. Back to the oldie but goodie.

There is one issue with the ReliefBand that leads me to only give 4 stars, and that is if you have it in a purse or backpack it is really easy for it to get accidentally turned on, and the batteries run down really fast because of this. I have a hack that I do that helps a lot to keep this from happening: When I get ready to put the band away, I pull out the battery tray and put it back in upside down, which prevents the batteries from making contact. Then when I go to use it again I put the battery tray back in the right way.

I think a manual switch, on the side edge perhaps, to override automatically turning on the band would be great.

It works... instantly

  • By ROARK from Scottsdale AZ USA on Thursday, May 19, 2022
  • Pros: Stops airsickness instantly
  • Review: Okay... flying for 10 years... but after about 40 minutes of aerobatics, or 10 minutes of sustained turbulence I'm turning pretty green. Put me in the back seat of a car on a mountain road I'm done. This thing no joke puts a stop to that sick feeling INSTANTLY. I flew 11 hours from Kentucky to Arizona at 8000ft on one of the stormiest days this year. I knew I was going to get sick so I gambled and got this the day before....no problems. Is the electric signal comfortable... no not really...but I love it because it stops the green puking feeling within moments of turning it on. 10000% get this thing if you or someone you fly with gets air sick.

Amazing device

  • By ig from Charlottesville VA USA on Thursday, April 21, 2022
  • Pros: replaceable CHEAP battery - you can keep it running forever without worry that it will wear out.
  • Review: I purchased this mostly for use with VR driving and flying rig. This device completely eliminated motion sickness that I would normally experience after about 20 minutes depending on level or VR motion. This is truly amazing. My son also used this for 1000+ miles road trip and it completely eliminated his discomfort as well. I can't tell you that this will work for every individual, but for myself and my kid this is a miracle device.

Q: How do I replace the battery?

A: 1.Peel back the rubberized battery door at the end marked “OPEN HERE”  and pull out the red colored tray.
2.Remove used batteries and then replace them with two fresh batteries (3V, CR2025 Lithium coin cells only) available at grocery, drug, and other similar stores. IMPORTANT: Make sure the new batteries are inserted in the correct direction with the “+” side down (see Figure 6), the battery tray is inserted correctly, and the door is closed.
3.Be sure the door is replaced with the “OPEN HERE” facing in original position and there are no gaps in the seal (gaps decrease water resistance). Never insert an empty battery tray into the ReliefBand. Doing so may damage the device.
