  • Cons: No cons except wish it could be a little smaller.

Very effective product

  • By A Customer from Ponte Vedra Beach FL USA on Sunday, January 29, 2017
  • Review: Met expectations. Seemed to prevent any signs of motion sickness on cruise ship, and the ship encountered high waves and lots of "Rolling" . Easy to use, not unattractive, and comfortable to wear. I'm very pleased with this product.

I've used a ReliefBand for years but it is NOT waterproof.

  • By Meg from Santa Fe, NM on Thursday, June 08, 2017
  • Pros: Stops sea sickness
  • Cons: Not waterproof
  • Review: I swear by the ReliefBand since it has saved me from miserable sea sickness for years. This last trip I screwed up and fell off our boat while wearing the band. That killed it. This is not a complaint since it does not claim to be waterproof. It just a warning to think about protecting it and also not stupidly falling off a boat! ;-).

Where it's really great is in stopping motion sickness after it has started. Nothing else will do this. We were headed out on the Newport to Ensenada ocean race for the first time. My friend was teasing me about my silly band. After being on the ocean for about an hour she said "Can I borrow that thing?" Of course I lent it to her. After about 15 minutes she said "Where can I buy one of these?" That's a pretty amazing testament to the ReliefBand.

Awesome solution to a lifelong problem!

  • By A Customer from Marblehead MA USA on Thursday, January 21, 2016
  • Pros: Reduces/eliminates nausea in car rides and on buses.
  • Cons: The design is quite large so I usually have to explain to those around me why I am wearing a larger bracelet.
  • Review: I have had severe motion sickness for my entire life and often have to opt out of travel because of it. I was gifted this band (after all other "solutions" had failed to help me) and to my surprise it has worked so well! I am an elementary teacher and had trouble organizing field trips because I was sure to get sick on bus rides (even little things like the swing set makes me sick) and I wore this today to a field trip without experiencing any of my usual nausea. I have no yet tested it on a plane (one of my biggest sources for motion sickness) but I have worn it both on the bus and on a car ride and have experienced relief from my typical symptoms!

It worked for me.

  • By Caron from Lanai City HI USA on Saturday, September 23, 2017
  • Pros: It doesn't make you drowsy.
  • Cons:
  • Review: I am prone to sea sickness, but I weathered the seas without a problem when I wore the ReliefBand. It's so much better than taking pills or wearing the patch.

Restored my quality of life

  • By A Customer from Farmington, New Mexico on Monday, November 09, 2015
  • Review: I have a rare and diagnosed neurological disorder called Mal De Debarquement Syndrome or MDDS (Google it to find out more). It is caused or set off by motion (in my case, being on water after a bike accident). It can be quite debilitating. However, I refuse to stop doing things like going to Lake Powell or visiting an ocean. I use the Relief Band whenever on water and also when driving on windy roads. It works great and has restored quality of life when MDDS is active. I wear it about .30 minutes before doing something, and then for 1-2 hours when I have symptoms or in the middle of an activity such as a choppy boat ride. The new version that has a replaceable battery is welcomed. I highly recommend this product.

This product has saved me

  • By Norton from Farmington, New Mexico on Saturday, September 19, 2015
  • Pros: it works!
  • Cons: none that I can think of
  • Review: I have Mal de Debarquement Syndrome a neurological balance disorder condition with symptoms of motion sickeness. The relief band has saved me and means that I can still be on water. I come home from a water trip with symptoms but they have been reduced 80%. I wear it for 4-5 hours after getting off the water. Find out more about MdDS at: http://www.mddsfoundation.org

Flying in now fun!

  • By A Customer from Broken Arrow OK USA on Friday, April 24, 2015
  • Pros: prevents motion sickness
  • Cons: tiny shocks are the trade off. can be positional
  • Review: I can get motion.sick in a porch swing. No brag, just fact.
When I travel I have to sit perfectly still and keep my eyes on the horizon. Winding roads, flying in a plane, and riding in a boat required taking Dramamine and feeling sleepy the rest of the day.
I was totally skeptical about the Relief band working. But it does a great job controlling all symptoms of motion sickness. ...headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. It works so well for me that I can now read when I travel. Who knew traveling could be relaxing and fun!
No more barf bags! I let my pregnant daughter use it and it eliminates her morning sickness when nothing else helped.
I have shared my magic band with my pregnant daughter and it relieved her morning sickness. I bought her a ReliefBand to get mine back. I do recommend purchasing this model with replaceable batteries.

  • By Teena from Clearwater, FL. on Sunday, September 01, 2019
  • Pros: Wonderful and would not be without it.
  • Cons:
  • Review: I have had this for ten years and it has enabled me to go on cruises with my family and friends. We do a lot of cruises all over the world and even worked when we went through a hurricane around the Horn in South America. No motion sickness whatsoever! I have convinced a number of people to get one.

Saved our Alaska vacation!

  • By Belsize gal from London, England on Friday, December 11, 2015
  • Pros: Works without drugs - so no sleepy, dull, or dry mouth side effects.
  • Cons: None that we found.
  • Review: Motion sickness runs in our family and at least 4 of the members on a recent trip to Alaska used this device with great results. I have trouble in a bus or on water; my niece struggles on a dock or a boat. It is hard to believe, but it worked for all of us, and after the trip we bought 3 more. The tingling sensation is a bit weird at first, but you quickly get used to it. Highly recommend.

LOVE this product but bring back the one with replaceable batteries!

  • By Judy from San Diego,CA on Tuesday, August 24, 2010
  • Pros: It works...no motion sickness!
  • Cons: Not at all attractive...in fact, down right ugly. Fortunately, the weather was cold so I wore long sleeves to cover it.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I bought the "Adventurer Relief Band Device" from Sharper Image (now out of business) about 5 years ago prior to a 10 day Alaska cruise. I was really worried as I get motion sick very, very easity and especially sea-sick. I wore that ugly thing all the time, even to sleep (it was lovely with my dress up dinner clothes!) and it is a miracle. For two days on open seas, the dining room was about half empty...the ship was rolling from side to side. Just typing that makes me feel queazy...but I had absolutely not one moment of dizziness or nausea. Please bring back the one with replaceable batteries...such an waste to just throw it away. Adjusted quickly to the tingling feeling...so much better than being sick!

  • Review: The ease of use and the results for me.In the air, onthe sea and in stop and go car traffic. I do not know how it works but, it works for me.
Fits on the wrist kind of just lile a watch.

Miracle

  • By A Customer from North Carolina on Sunday, March 01, 2015
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Easy to use and works like a miracle
  • Review: I have never written a review before but after using the ReliefBand I had to!! I get motion sickness doing anything; even swinging on a swing and have tried everything possible. The patches worked for me (most of the time) but they always made me feel "not quite right" and a little nauseous. I finally found this band on line and decided to spend the $70 and try it out. My husband has a small plane and loves to fly. I go with him sometimes but always dread the trip. I always have wear the patch and even then I never know if I'm going to vomit. I received the ReliefBand and went on a trip an hour away. I put the band on and made sure I felt the tingling in my middle finger, but I was very skeptical. The only word that describes this band is MIRACLE!!! I never felt sick or even close to it. Landing is always the worst part for me so I just knew that I would feel bad; but I didn't. Usually when I get off the plane I feel so bad that it takes me about 30 minutes to feel good again. When I wore the band I was actually smiling when the plan landed. I was so thrilled that I could fly with my husband and not feel horrible.

I have the band that has replaceable batteries and I am so glad that I can keep using it. However; if I had to get one that was a throwaway I would still buy it and replace it when needed. Anyone who gets motion sickness all the time knows it is worth any amount of money just to feel normal! I don't know who invented this thing, but I am forever grateful!!!

Couldn't Believe the Difference!

  • By Dorothy from Belleville ON Canada on Wednesday, February 11, 2015
  • Pros: Easy to use, fast and effective
  • Cons: Ugly! Can't you make it skin-colored?
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I'm generally a poor traveller, and have been since I was a child. Car sick, air sick, sea sick-- all these have restricted my enjoyment of travel. I found the Relief Band by accident while cruising the web. At first I was skeptical, but the reviews and research convinced me to try it out.
The first night of our cruise, while at dinner, I noticed the motion increasing. I took the Relief Band from my purse, put it on and set it to 2. Within 3-5 minutes I noticed the improvement. As the motion increased, I increased it to 3 and poof! all symptoms disappeared. I always had it with me and now I will never travel without it.

  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I've had my band for at least 10 years. Was the best $100 investment I ever made. Glad I got mine before they changed it though because my batteries are replaceable. If I had to rebuy it time after time, don't know if I could afford that. Only wear it when I fly, did wear it fishing one time and it still worked great on that. If you have a very intense case of motion sickness or vertigo, its the best thing ever!!

Changed my life!

  • By Caren from Franklin WI USA on Wednesday, December 02, 2015
  • Pros: It helps with all forms of travel.
  • Cons: Design could be a bit more stylish, like a fit bit or nice looking watch, since I have to wear it all the time when in any mode of transformation
  • Review: So glad to be able to get the rechargeable relief band again. Bought one about 15 years ago that I used until I broke the face of it. Bought the non rechargeable because it was all that was offered and I couldn't live without it. Have now purchased the rechargeable again. It's always handy in my purse, in case I'm not driving. I can put it on and be comfortable wherever I have to sit in the vehicle. Recent went on a river cruise which involved flying, cruising, riding in cabs and taxis. Never was sick and was able to enjoy the trip!

It works!

  • By A Customer from Wilmot NS Canada on Wednesday, November 11, 2015
  • Pros: Functional and effective motion sickness relief.
  • Cons: Nothing of significance.
  • Review: Owned an older version for a number of years. Worked like a charm. Still in good condition, however when a new one was available, ordered one immediately (just in case the old one ever wears out). Chronic motion sickness resolved immediately. Wouldn't travel without it. The replaceable batteries make it a solid long-term investment. Research indicates that hospitals now using to combat various forms of nausea, especially after treatments, surgery and during pregnancy.

  • Pros: Easy to use, effective.

ONLY product that has worked REPEATEDLY in 40 years.

  • By Shelly Kuretich-Brown from Southern California on Wednesday, September 10, 2014
  • Pros: Eliminates Motion sickness.
  • Cons: Nonreplaceable batteries- Need more life
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]

I'm giving the product concept a 5 because it truly does work. I've HAD extreme motion sickness since I was a child. Which was many years ago. I have tried every Home made recipe, every herb, every medication and patch, pressure bands etc. NOTHING WORKED as well or as efficiently as the relief band.

However, after years of suffering and stress. I had a co-worker offer to loan their band, and introduce me to the RELIEF band-Explorer (replicable batteries) version 3 years ago. I was preparing for a trip across Europe for 20 days. I had voiced my concern of the motion sickness, as we are planning to embark on many modes of transportation in our adventure. After only a few hours in the plane I realized it was a success. I wore the bracelet the entre first week on buses, trains, taxis, boats etc. I was THRILLED w/ the results. So thrilled in fact I got online and located one online I could purchase in EUROPE and had it sent to my next destination. Which was a God send! As the friends we met up in Ireland, the wife also had motion sickness and she was able to use it during our 2 day bus tour through Ireland. I am fortunate enough i got the Explorer version to replace batteries because I have worn it for hundreds of hours. I have used it to enjoy roller coasters, car tips, buses( I can even sit backwards) through mountain roads, trains, subways, planes and I can even read our road trips now- WHICH I COULD NEVER DO.
I'm sooo satisfied, That I purchased a second voyager version for my daughter who gets occasional motion sickness for our family vacations, so that we are all SOO MUCH more comfortable. And when they die I will continue to buy the voyager. To me the $1.25 a day is well worth the price. To keep myself, my children and all our travel buddies comfortable and enjoying the ride.

  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have dealt with motion sickness since I was a child. I'm 63 now and have never found anything that didn't make me drowsy and out of it...UNTIL NOW! I used the Relief Band on our trip out west and had a great trip with no problem on windy, curvy roads. I will use it until it runs out of juice and then I will definitely buy the permanent one!

I love this product!

  • By Seana from Denver CO USA on Tuesday, July 06, 2010
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I get seasick at everything and was afraid to go on a cruise. I read everything that I could about cures for seasickness and bought lots of products for both my daughter and I before we left. The reliefband was the only thing that worked for us. I didn't really need the reliefband for the cruise much (the boat was so large) but it really helped when we took a small catamarand to Capri - I also wore it going up the windy roads on the bus. There were people all around us getting sick. I tried to get them to try the band but it was difficult with the language barrier. My daughter and I took turns wearing it. Our trip wouldn't have been nearly as fun without it. Now I always have it in my purse and ready to go. Best purchase ever. Make sure to use the gel - it helps it work better.

Second One

  • By Robert from Jupiter FL USA on Wednesday, July 08, 2015
  • Pros: Ease of use and effective.
  • Cons: Battery replacement.
  • Review: The first one I owned lasted for years, the only drawback was replacing the batteries if placed upside down it obviously will not work but pulling the batteries will bend the contacts, I managed to correct their position and it continued to function. My family members have borrowed it many times with great results.I plan to give them each their own as presents. For those of us who suffer from vertigo this makes all the difference in the world.

Really works!

  • By A Customer from Anacortes WA USA on Wednesday, July 08, 2015
  • Pros: Works within minutes
  • Cons: Little bulky
  • Review: I first purchased this when I was having an awful morning sickness. Without this, I'd been puking 24/7. This was a life saver. I use it for air travel as well - I usually get very nervous and start to get very shaky when the plane gets into turbulence but this works as an anti-anxiety device - I flip this one, and I'm fine. You'd have to put it on right on the spot, however. Otherwise it won't work.

Amazing!

  • By Kathy from Florida on Saturday, May 24, 2014
  • Pros: Does what it's supposed to do!
  • Cons: Unable to replace batteries
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]   I had the original relief bands that were phenomenal! They totally changed my sea sickness n actually eliminated it when I crossed the North Atlantic on a small sailboat in very rough weather! I haven't had a chance to use this new version yet but hope it has the same outcome. The old version had replaceable batteries & the stimulation was more focused up the middle finger vs this one that includes stimulating more area of the hand. A truly amazing product & a must have for someone with a propensity for motion sickness!

It is amazing!

  • By Derson from Sheboygan Wi on Monday, August 17, 2015
  • Pros: Long battery life and easy to wear
  • Cons: Only black band and battery compartment does not stay shut easily
  • Review: I traveled 20,000 miles flying , cruising, riding in mountainous jeeps and even the back of very bumpy , poorly made buses in SE Asia. I always have motion sickness in the best of circumstances and I was never sick on this trip. It totally made my trip wonderful .Instead of missing out on most things I was able to do absolutely everything. I even think it helped with my poor sleeping and am going to start wearing it at home to sleep. Apparently it stimulates the pericardium 6 spot.

Amazing device

  • By ig from Charlottesville VA USA on Thursday, April 21, 2022
  • Pros: replaceable CHEAP battery - you can keep it running forever without worry that it will wear out.
  • Cons: Not very attractive design, but it works!
  • Review: I purchased this mostly for use with VR driving and flying rig. This device completely eliminated motion sickness that I would normally experience after about 20 minutes depending on level or VR motion. This is truly amazing. My son also used this for 1000+ miles road trip and it completely eliminated his discomfort as well. I can't tell you that this will work for every individual, but for myself and my kid this is a miracle device.

UNBELIEVABLE!

  • By Curt from Boston, MA area on Friday, June 03, 2022
  • Pros: compact design, light weight, effective
  • Cons: none that come to mind
  • Review: Like many, my motion sickness has been severe. I couldn't use a swing or merry-go-round as a kid. Absolutely no spinning amusement park rides. Traveling in a car's back seat is a stomach churning, migraine inducing event. And being on the water - no way! So when a friend recommended this for a recent trip, I was skeptical but I tried it based on his experiences. I recently traveled from the East Coast to Africa, which included a water taxi ride from and to the airport. I was able to do computer work on the plane and traverse the sea in a small, 20 passenger ferry with ZERO motion sickness. This is huge and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Thought I would hate to cruise

  • By Julie from Cordova, TN on Monday, August 10, 2009
  • Pros: Quick and full relief from nausea
  • Cons: Addictive! Didn't want to take it off!
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I get motion sick watching waves on the ocean, watching a merry-go-round, swinging in a swing, etc., so when I had to accompany my daughter on a cruise, I was very concerned. I had all of the medications but my sister insisted I try her bracelet as she had used it successfully on a previous cruise. I stuck it in my bag and boarded Amtrak to get to New Orleans. A few hours later, I got deathly motion sick. Then, I remembered the Relief Band in my bag. I was skeptical as I had felt this way so often and it usually took a full day to recover. However, believe it or not, I felt completely fine in 15 minutes. NEVER before have I felt better that quickly. So, for the cruise, I wore it the entire time except one night, when I was having trouble getting to sleep with the electrical pulse, I turned it off. I woke up deathly sick, turned it on, and drifted off to blissful sleep 15 minutes later. After I got home, I didn't want to take it off because I get motion sick doing just the most mundane daily things. I am going to buy my own and test it at a theme park. I love to ride rides but always, always get sick after just one roller coaster. If this works, I'll be forever grateful!

Can't Live Without It

  • By Gina from Fort Worth TX USA on Thursday, April 29, 2010
  • Pros: Wear it like a watch, different levels of intensity, no side affects
  • Cons: Too Expensive, Conductivity Gel does not last long, Need more color choices, pink for girls would be nice; For the cost it should come with a carrying case
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have motion sickness big time as a result from TMJ and a couple of concussions. This device has saved my life on numerous occasions. From flying on airplanes, helicopters to touring the winding road trip on Road to Hana in Hawaii. It also gives me the confidence of knowing that when I put it on it works. My husband use to say it was pschological, but I just don't believe that any more, there is too much proof out there now; and I am the proof it actually does work!

This is my 3rd one, very effective

  • By A Customer from Ft Lauderdale FL USA on Wednesday, April 21, 2010
  • Pros: Prevents nausea.
  • Cons: Buzzing "pulse" delivered by the device takes a few minutes of getting used to - strength of pulse is adjustable.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Just bought one for my daughter, as I've used it to prevent air- and car sickness for several years. I can't tolerate the drowsiness from Dramamine, Bonine etc, and found accupressure wrist bands ineffective. This device has worked very well during air turbulence and landings, usually my worst times. Begin use a few minutes before traveling.

  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I was a little wary about this product as I knew no one who had one. Luckily I read many of your positive testimonials and decided to give it try. Though my cruise was very calm, I really felt it's effect when I rode on a small boat and when I went white water rafting. I will definitely recommend it to my friends who are prone to motion sickness.

Would not be able to enjoy traveling the world without it!

  • By maryb from Wisconsin on Friday, July 17, 2015
  • Review: I have used my relief band for over 10 years on many, many international trips with all kinds of motion: boats, buses, and jeeps in the Sahara desert, all that would make me sick. I used to take motion sickness medication but it would severely diminish my ability to enjoy my traveling. I even "loaned" my back up band to my granddaughter who loves to read while riding in a car on a long trip but is very bothered by the nausea it gives her. I am very glad to see that it is now available again with replacement batteries.

Amazing little device

  • By Connie from Allen TX USA on Monday, July 21, 2008
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I was really skeptical, but given my level of motion sickness and the fact that my doctor REALLY did not want me to use the patch I gave The Relief Band a try. On a 7 day cruise I only had to take one Dramamine and that was coming out of Grand Cayman on a night when there were a lot of green people onboard the Carnival Conquest. The Relief Band is very effective and I will use it next year in Alaska. It would be nice if it was smaller, it overwhelms my wrist. However, I did talk to a lot people who had never heard of such a thing. I told all of them to Google Releif Band. Thank you for giving a very enjoyable cruise.

It REALLY works!

  • By Christian, Student Pilot from Chicago, IL on Thursday, July 24, 2008
  • Pros: It really does work. It took away all nausa and all motion discomforct. Battery lasts 150 + hours. Comfortable.
  • Cons: None
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I am not joking when I say I NEVER get motion sickness. In a car, a jumbo jet, a boat, anything; it has never happened. About two months ago I started my pilot training in a Cessna 172 and to my dissappointment I had pretty bad motion discomfort. I never threw-up, but was pretty close. This discouraged me terribly, I didn't want to continue my training even though I wanted to be a pilot. I found this product and was pretty skeptical about the results that it said it could give me. Since I already had invested a lot of money into flying, I decided to purchase this product. To my amazement, the first time I used it it worked perfectly. It didn't feel sick at ALL. I didn't even think about feeling sick, it never entered my mind. I don't use it as much now because my body has gotten used to being in a small plane, but will always carry it with me for new passangers. This product does what it says, it takes away ALL nausea and all other symptoms of motion discomfort. If it wasn't for this product I probably would not have continued my pilot training. Seriously consider this product, 120 dollars is not a small amount of money, but is worth it, in my opinion, if it allows you to do things that you normally wouldn't be able to do because of motion sickness.

Never leave home without it!

  • By Sarah from Portland OR USA on Tuesday, March 23, 2010
  • Pros: Prevents motion sickness in a variety of situations. Can change battery
  • Cons: Not exactly fashion forward (especially for females)
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have suffered from motion sickness all my life and this is the first product that reliably works in planes, boats, cars etc.. It does not involve medication or altered states of mind. My husband (a physician and pilot ) bought me my first relief band about 10 years ago. I recently purchased the newest model after I saw my brother-in-law use it. The newest model is definitely less bulky and more compact. I have traveled the world with the relief band and it is always the first thing I pack. I like that it has different levels to use in different situations and that you can change the battery. At its highest level you definitely feel the electrical pulse but that is far better than being green with motion sickness. I have used this device on just about every means of transportation you can think of. I highly recommend this product for anyone who suffers from motion sickness and likes to travel!

This is the BEST gift my husband bought me. We went to Kauai to get certified in scuba and the final dives were boat dives (I sometimes "forget" I get seasick on a boats). I wore the relief band (which I hadnt used yet)on the dive boat and it was AMAZING! People all around me were feeling sick while waiting on the rocking boat to dive BUT I was perfectly FINE!! Total refief from motion sickness!

  • By Julie from New Boston NH USA on Thursday, November 05, 2009
  • Pros: Effective and easy to use
  • Cons: The band is a little awkward for a small wrist
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  The Relief Band really works! I have had years of miserable flying as a passenger, to the point that I stopped wanting to go anywhere in the plane due to severe motion sickness. A friend loaned me his relief band to try and it was so great, I bought my own. For the first time ever in my life (I am 44!), I looked out the window of the plane (a Piper Cherokee) -- took foliage pictures, and had lunch at our destination, and returned home on a full stomach -- all without any vomiting or even nausea. I was initially nervous about it but it is easy to use, and gives a very distinct sensation in my hand that lets me know it is positioned properly.

Bye, bye Dramamine

  • By Michele from Pompano Beach FL USA on Monday, April 21, 2008
  • Pros: IT WORKS - NO QUEASINESS
  • Cons: NEED TO GET USED TO THE LITTLE ZAPS - MASCULINE LOOKING
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  The older I get the more I suffer from motion sickness - driving on winding roads, in a pool too long, funky ways of filming movies or even poorly made home videos all make me queasy. I was going on a flyfishing trip (on a boat, drifting - makes me ill to think of it) and did not want to ruin it for me or anyone else. Ordered the ReliefBand; it came in very quickly, was just as portrayed. I wore it under my jacket as I didn't want anyone to know - it gives you a nice little buzz on the wrist every few seconds - but you do forget about it after a while; it was amazing; I never even thought of getting queasy. IT WORKS!!! After coming in and taking it off, later that evening, in the shower I did feel a little rocking motion as if I was still on the boat - but no nausea. I have recommended to my son who gets queasy at sea - EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

  • Pros: The Reliefband is lightweight, totally adjustable and it WORKS!
  • Cons: I cannot think of one negative regarding this product and hope to never be without it!
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  The Reliefband is the most effective product I have ever used for motion sickeness! It was first introduced to me by an anesthesia doctor about 5 years ago. He used one for sea sickness and prescribed for me to use directly after having had surgery as the anesthesia sometimes can cause lingering nausea in some patients. Since then I have used one EVERY TIME I fly and it has prevented vomiting and nausea each and every time. I used to get nausea just visiting the airport due to breathing the heavy exhause fumes in the area. Not anymore! In fact about three weeks ago I was experiencing intermittal nausea while at home and couldn't understand why. After the first day and after trying over the counter meds I decided to try the reliefband and within 20 minutes the nausea was gone. I removed the band and 1 hour later nausea was back. I again used the reliefband and the nausea disappeared. The next day, I was completely fine. I thoroughly believe in the product and am sorry I didn't have knowledge of it while on chemotherapy 6 years ago! I would recommend it to anyone with stomach discomfort and whats more, it doesn't produce any side effects! Thank you for carrying the product and making it so easy to purchase!

It works

  • By Wayne from Fairfield CA USA on Monday, December 07, 2009
  • Pros: easy to use and wear; black strap is unobtrusive; nice to be able to vary the intensity
  • Cons: a bit bulky; strap must be trimmed for small wrist, and frays.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This was my wife's second use of the ReliefBand. A friend loaned us one for a trial on an earlier coach and rail vacation, and it worked well. This was the true test, though: a twelve day ocean cruise, with significant roll through the swells in the south Tasman Sea. She could increase the intensity as the waters got rough, and it always prevented nausea if she had it on, or relieved it if she had not had it on to start with.

This thing REALLY works!

  • By Leonard M. from Roswell GA USA on Sunday, December 20, 2009
  • Pros: It flat out works
  • Cons: None
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Flying was really giving me the blues. Required to fly a lot for my job, somewhere with in the last couple of years I would randomly become very ill while in the air. My doctor had no idea let alone a cure. I personally narrowed it down to "altitude sickness" or a sinus reaction. For 2 years (and many flights) I self prescribed to Dramamine which worked but left me extremely groggy at my destination, not good for upcoming meetings and presentations. After a random conversation with a good friend who also travels alot and experienced my same symptoms and heartaches for flying she told me of your product which I shared with my fiance. Your product started out as a well thoughtout birthday present from my fiance and had turned into one of my favorite gifts of ALL TIMES! The watch just flat out works. No more groggy meds, no more mid air "medical episodes" , and no more hesitation to fly. Thanks so much for a product that does what it says and relieves a really big problem in my life!

Works Great

  • By Michael from Calhoun GA USA on Friday, December 12, 2008
  • Pros: Works great
  • Cons: needs constant adjusting with even moderate activity
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Takes only a few minutes to get used to and become confident that it works. Occasionally needs to be adjusted but you quickly become used to it. In fact, when it does stop working, you notice it quickly and adjust it.

WOW

  • By Sue - Maui Dive Shop employee from Kihei, Hawaii on Tuesday, March 04, 2008
  • Pros: No more motionsicknesss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Cons: Some people don't care for the "shock" feel
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have not used the new band yet but have owned two of the older models for quite a few years. I never enjoyed going on boats or in car rides because I felt so miserable. The first time I wore one, was on a boat. I left the boat smiling, leaving everyone wondering why. I now dive off boats at least three times a week. I bring along my extra one to give to people that get sick on the boat. Everyone is always amazed at how their sickness goes away immediately. I have not found one person yet that it has not helped. Definitely worth the money!

I does the trick!

  • By Laura from Huntington Beach CA USA on Thursday, January 07, 2010
  • Pros: Motion sickness is reduced or eliminated
  • Cons: Need to re-apply gel frequently in order to keep contact.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  It met my expectation. The only drawback is having to hold wrist up-right in order to keep band in proper position, and needing to re-apply gel.

Great Product

  • By John from Poinciana FL USA on Tuesday, January 12, 2010
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Wife uses the Relief Band for motion sickness when we cruise. She had tried everything before she got the Band including the "Patch", Dramamine, Bonine, and the wrist pressure band. None of them worked to the degree the Relief Band does. She now has two of them (just in case she loses one) to make sure she always has one handy.

My Fifth Purchase

  • By Sharon from Long Beach CA USA on Tuesday, January 19, 2010
  • Pros: IT WORKS!
  • Cons: Not pretty and the battery cover won't stay in place.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I own two and have now given three as gifts....to family members who kept borrowing mine! I have passed mine around at the dining table to grateful strangers on a rough cruise. Even a few shared minutes brought instant relief! It is not pretty. The battery cover has a problem staying in place. And I couldn't care less because it works.

Enjoy a boat ride without vomiting ever again!

  • By Louise from Fair Oaks CA on Thursday, January 28, 2010
  • Pros: Works so quickly even if you waited to put it on
  • Cons: A slimmer design for women would be nice - and not pink!
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Used it, loved it & you're not borrowing mine. :O) Nothing else worked: patch, pressure band, pills. Really, don't even hesitate to buy (no I don't work for these guys - I'm just a regular Jane that can't go without vomiting on a boat ride). You'll love your excursions - finally! It is SO worth the money but hopefuly the cost will go down over time. Also works if you read on the road or ride a smelly bus. I'm buying a 2nd for a guest for our Napali coast sail next month. I couldn't stop giggling when we sailed 2 years ago because I wasn't sick! It was so sad to watch 5 folks with their heads in the buckets through out the 4 hr trip.

I liked it so much I am buying this product for my husband

  • By A Customer from Tucson AZ USA on Thursday, April 17, 2008
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  High expectations and they met them all. Easy to use, instructions clear - good to go in 15 minutes! Easy to discern level of stimulations, easy to apply, with good "guidelines" for personal settings. Lightweight, easily stored, can wait to assess the situation as to when to turn it on, unlike OTC medication Much better than pharmaceutical alternatives for motion sickness. Would like better battery life, but carrying extras not a big thing.

Love this product. This is my second. I loaned one out and the borrower liked it so much she kept it.

  • By Lola from Fresno CA USA on Wednesday, May 07, 2008
  • Pros: Convenient. Portable. Works
  • Cons: Need carrying case for this. First one I purchased had nice zippered carrying case, Price is significantly more, than the first one I purchased, and didn't have a carrying case
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This is effective for me, even if I haver already developed nausea. Have used it on cruise with 40 foot swells. It was fabulous. Also use it in busses, and auto rides in the mountains. Best thing, is there is no "hang over" when the aparatus is not longer required--as with ingested or topical products.

Best none-drug option for motion sickness

  • By Jeff from New Richmond WI USA on Saturday, September 06, 2008
  • Pros: A small package that provides wonderful control of motion sickness
  • Cons: Continued use over many hours temporarily numbed my ring and middle finger nerves. You need to take breaks over extended uses like on a cruise ship.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  The Reliefband Explorer works very well in controlling motion sickness distress. The choice of electrical signal intensities allows you to use the level that makes you feel better without over doing electrical stimulation of the middle and ring finger nerves. The relief is immediate when turned on. No need to feel droggy with motion sickness drugs(been there, done that). The batteries are longed lived for the unit. I used the used the reliefband for a 17 day cruise on the Black, Norwegian, and Berentz seas at least a quarter of the time and never had to change the batteries. I'm sure it would work well in a flight cockpit or passenger cabin as well. I whole heartly recommend this product.

Absolutely works!

  • By A Customer from Westminster CO USA on Thursday, November 06, 2008
  • Pros: Batteries last a long time and are easily available (about $4 each) wherever watch batteries are sold.
  • Cons: Wrist band a bit bulky and looks like a man's sport watch.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This wrist band totally worked for seasickness, even when other people were getting seasick! The highest level I have used is level 3, but it goes up to level 5. I used it for a weeklong cruise as well as a small-boat whale-watching excursion (very choppy seas) and felt fine the whole time. It also works for air-sickness as well. I loaned it to my sister and it worked great for her as well. My sister-in-law and several people in her family have used it as well - all with success! I am so glad I can cruise without any fear of seasickness! I did experience some skin irritation when I used the gel, and had to switch wrists, but it was a minor inconvenience. A fully-stretch band would be nice, as would a less "outdoorsy" look since I wore it to dress-up dinners on the cruise. But as long as it works that is what really matters. Over a 1-week period (I did not use it only when I was sleeping at night) I only changed the batteries once (not becuase it said I needed to, but just to be sure for the excursion). The little closure on the battery compartment is a bit tricky to make sure it is fully closed. It will pop open if you don't close it entirely.

25 Years Too Late for This Former Flight Instructor

  • By Larry from Mobile AL USA on Tuesday, November 18, 2008
  • Pros: Easy to use; put it on and forget it; easy to position on wrist
  • Cons: Not waterproof which is not good for a fisherman
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Because of inner ear problems I had to be very careful with some of my training maneuvers many years ago when I was an active flight instructor. The ReliefBand Explorer does eliminate the motion sickness now when I go fishing on rough seas so I believe it would have solved, or greatly reduced my motion sickness problems when I was a flight instructor - too bad it was not available then because I did enjoy flight instruction. The band is easy to use and I never went higher than a #3 setting. Since I was fishing and my wrist was flexing a lot, the position of the band had a tendency to shift a little. I probably could have tightened the band a little and this would have reduced that problem, but it did not seem to reduce its effectiveness. I could just feel the difference in the amount of stimulus, but as I said, it did not seem to reduce its benefits.

Post-operative nausea? Not with this!

  • By Cathy, Medical Technologist from Grand Rapids, MI on Monday, September 15, 2008
  • Pros: It works!! It works!! It works!!
  • Cons: I can't think of anything. It works!!
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have an awful time with post-op nausea & vomiting. When I had my Achilles tendon re-attached, I warned them about my reaction to anesthesia. The nurses recommended this and I thought it was 'hokey.' But I was willing to try anything. IT WORKED! Recovery is bad enough without puking all the time. This device is terrific. Now, we're living in another part of the country and I'm facing shoulder surgery. My doctor's never heard of this. I dug up mine from 3 years ago - and it still works! I used it two nights ago with nausea from a migraine. New batteries should assure me an easier recovery and perhaps a new device for this doctor to offer. I can't thank you enough!

  • Pros: It works! Not bulky and easy to drop in your purse or pocket.
  • Cons: I think it's ugly. The zapping takes a bit getting used to.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  A friend first lent me this product when I was visiting her in Maui, HI to drive a few hours along a very windy road. I get motion sick at a drop of a hat and was thrilled that I was able to enjoy the ride and take in the scenery with a minimal of discomfort. I only kept the setting at 3 and probably could have gotten completely rid of any dizziness at a higher setting. She also lent it to me for a trip to Africa and I suffered no motion sickness on the small bush planes I took nor on the extremely bumpy roads. I have since purchased one for myself and one for my sister.

  • Pros: It worked fantastically for me when adjusted properly.
  • Cons: Be patient as it can be difficult to adjust properly on wrist.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Worked amazingly well (almost like a "light switch") when adjusted properly on my wrist. Motion sickness symptoms disappeared completely and did not re-appear so long as the WristBand continued to function. Placement of ReliefBand was extremely sensitive to its position on my wrist. I had to hold it on my wrist and move it around very carefully until I felt the stimulation. I then had to hold it in place while I tightened the band. This is easier said then done. Also, even when adjusted in this manner, the ReliefBand's operation was extremely sensitive to the position of my arm and/or hand. Finally, after extended use (several days straight) the ReliefBand caused irritation on my wrist in the spot where the stiumulation was taking place.

  • Pros: cures motion sickness as well as anything else on the market and you dont have to take drowsy drugs. also it can be used when you start to feel the sicknesss coming on instead of before.
  • Cons: it does "shock you" and you have to wear a watch which can be unsightly
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This watch seems like something you would see on late night tv where everyone is so enthralled with it and it works so well that you have to have it. Whats the catch, it cost 140 bucks. Well the difference is this think rocks. It really works. WE bought it for my fiance on a cruise we were going on. She gets motion sickness fairly easily. Well she didn't end up getting sea sick but she used it on a train ride and said it work perfectly when she started to get sick. I used one night in a drunken daze and it worked well for me too!  Since then we use it in the car and anywhere else. It has allowed us to do things that we could do before for fear of motion sickness. Get it,Try it, It's for REAL.

He had to fly for the first time this summer (at 17 yrs old) and I found this item on the internet. Since I had taken Dramamine many times when I flew in the past, I did not want him to have to take it. Well, he wore the ReliefBand from Houston to Atlanta and back, without any sickness at all. He was so thankful, since he typically gets seasick even riding in a car too long. He also wore it on a 9 hour car ride to Joplin, Missouri and did not get sick.

  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I absolutely loved this reliefband. It worked well for me on both our cruise and our flight. When I would start to feel alittle more queasy, I would increase the pulse and it worked great! I am buying another one for my daughter who tends to get motion sickness. Highly recommend if you don't want to take medications.

An Absolute God Send

  • By The Hat Lady of Charleston from Charleston SC USA on Monday, December 29, 2008
  • Pros: It delivers everything it promises.
  • Cons: None
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This product is an absolute God send to anyone prone to motion sickness. I have worn it under the most trying situations (e.g. the winding roads of China; the turbulence on an airplane I thought would crash), and it worked. It has even enabled me to be part of a Dragon Boat Team. I could not recommend a product more highly.

Unbelievable - it really works!!

  • By Sue Parker from Salinas CA USA on Monday, December 29, 2008
  • Pros: Total relief from nausea. I count on that band and don't even attempt to fly without.
  • Cons: None
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have had motion sickness since I was little, 5 years old. I have never been able to go to the amusement park without nausea, I have worked in commercial fishing and known that my destiny was to get sick multiple times but because I enjoyed what I did, I suffered through the sickness. I wanted to learn to fly but after hitting some turbulence, my old friend, nausea, returned. In desperation I had heard about the ReliefBand from someone who purchased it for his spouse when she was pregnant, I immediately ordered it and had it next day aired to me. I now have a life with motion; not motion sickness!!!!!

It actually works!!!

  • By Nancy Taylor from Bonita Springs FL USA on Thursday, January 15, 2009
  • Pros: IT WORKED!!!
  • Cons: I forgot to use the gel one day and got a small sore on my wrist
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have suffered from Vertigo for a number of years and have declined all cruise trips my family was going on. This past December I agreed to go on a 14 day cruise through the Panama Canal with my 92 year old mother and was sure I would be sick for at least half of the trip. A friend suggested the relief band and I bought it....IT WORKED...I WAS NEVER SICK ON THE TRIP...while others were. THank you for such a great product....I only wished I had heard of it earlier.

The best $129 I've EVER spent.

  • By Darlene from Jacksonville, FL on Friday, February 13, 2009
  • Pros: It just works...exactly like they say it does.
  • Cons:
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have chronic problems with motion sickness on airplanes, in the back seat of a car and on a boat. The side effects of over the counter and even prescription motion sickness medication were almost as bad as the nausea. I literally couldn't function for a full day after taking Bonine and the Transdermscop patch was worse. This product is easy to use and worked exactly as described. What a lifesaver!

I highly recommend this product for motion sickness

  • By A Customer from Brooklyn Park MN USA on Sunday, March 15, 2009
  • Pros: Works as intended
  • Cons: Shock is quite as strong and can be a nuissance
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I get motion sickness very easily and in the past would have never been able to be on any boat ride or even in the back of the car without staring straight ahead. However with this product I was able to go on a sunset cruise in Cabo, MX. With the ReliefBand, I did not feel the waves at all! Though, the shock is quite strong (on level 2) and you can really feel it all of the time, it was worth it being able to go out into the sea on the boat and not get sick.

Prevent Motion-sickness Without Drugs!

  • By Julanne from Birmingham AL USA on Wednesday, April 01, 2009
  • Pros: It eliminates motion-sickness.
  • Cons: There is really no downside to this. You just have to use the lubricant that comes with it.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I have been a ReliefBand user for about 10 years. This is the third one I have had ( I lost the other two.) When using this product, I can even read and ride in the back seat without getting sick. I just can't recommend it enough. It met all my expectations.

Couldn't live without it!!!!

  • By A Customer from North Haledon NJ USA on Monday, March 02, 2009
  • Pros: It really took away the vomiting -- wouldn't be without it.
  • Cons: The cover to the battery area does not always stay closed.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Purchased the product for my mom who was going for surgery. I already had one -- and my mom used it the last time she had surgery -- and she was not sick from the medications at all with the band. Works the same for me. I used to have unbeliveable dizzy episodes which made me very sick to my stomach -- then I got the band. It didn't get rid of the dizzy episodes, but it did take away the sickness. It works like a miracle!!

Now I can even read while traveling in a car! It is a miracle...

  • By MS Marcy from Wallingford, CT on Sunday, February 08, 2009
  • Pros: Works well and with ease.
  • Cons: My wrist did get burns and blisters from all the shocks initially, but worth it.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I love to scuba, but it hurt to get sick on the boat and "feed the fish before each dive". Then I heard about the relief band, purchased one, and began to wear it. It worked every time. (I do remember hoping the fish had another reliable food source.) After a few years the relief band disappeared. Amazingly, I found out I could go out on any boat or ride as passenger in any car without getting sick. A true miracle since I had been sick in cars and on boats for my entire life. I even discovered I could read in the car and not get sick!

Have no Doubt this band works I suffer from major inner ear problems

  • By Jo from Iowa on Sunday, March 01, 2009
  • Pros: No more drugs to travel
  • Cons:
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I bought a relief band in February of 2005. We travel quiet often and always i would have to drug myself up in order to travel to the point that I was almost overdosing. We had traveled in January and when i got home i knew after being sick for two weeks trying to get over the effects of the drugs, I had to do something different. I purchased one of the Relief Bands and tried it on a trip in February of the same year. I am one of those people, no matter what I do, it can cause my head to go off, and I become very dizzy for a week at a time, before I can get back to normal, with the Relief band I can't began to tell you how thrilled I am to finally find a way to travel and do things with out getting sick and without drugging up to go. We travel to England several times and even with the long flight, I have no problems, it the flight gets a bit rough, I just punch it up to a higher level, I can sit in the back of a bus and get a long. I have even gone so far as when I am around home and have done something to set my head off where i get dizzy, I put the band on and go lay down and take a nap with it on. It actually makes me feel so much better when I wake up, and for me that is unreal, I am telling you, you can not go wrong by getting one of these and trying it, you will be glad you did, I know I am and I will never travel anywhere without it with me, something so simple, only wish I had invented them. Try it!!

  • Pros: It's a life saver-I now own 4
  • Cons: your wrist gets a little soar after hrs of use, but better then being sick
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I bought the relief band to go deep sea fishing... I have tried everything!!! Nothing has ever worked...I even gave it to 2 of my brothers and it worked for them, they have since purchased them... It's a life saver, if you've ever gotten sea sick, I also use it in airplanes when needed.... The captain of the boat we rent, also keeps one on hand, he told us there were 3 girls and they had to keep trading it off and on to each other... If You've ever gotten sea sick ...try this!!!

Here's the proof you need

  • By John Hefty from Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, April 11, 2009
  • Pros: it works
  • Cons: You get sick if you take it off. That's becaus it works. Test it yourself.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I was fishing off shore near Pensacola, Florida a few years back and I had the unit with me in case the waves picked up as I am prone to sickness. I put the band on. I was fine, people were starting to get sick. This was a large charter boat. A friend was getting sick and since I was feeling ok, I took the band off and gave it to him after he fed the fish overboard. He took the band, put it on, and went inside and fell asleep on a bench for an hour or so. But, then I got sick. Having no choice, I quietly took back the device off the sleeping friend's arm(he didn't look sick and I was) and in short order, I was back fishing again. That was my proof that it worked but that's not all. My friend woke up a short time later and came to the rail and fed the fish again. I felt very bad for him but I was not about to give up the wrist band because the seas were heavy and I needed that band to keep my sanity. Was I too selfish? I now own two.

The best $129 you could spend

  • By Brenda from Kaukauna, WI on Friday, May 15, 2009
  • Pros: Easy to use, effective
  • Cons:
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I went on a 7-day cruise, and was worried that I would have motion sickness, as I can get sick sitting in the passenger seat of a car! We had a "rolly" day at sea, so I turned the watch to setting #2, and never once felt sick at all. I didn't take any other pills, just used the watch. While others around me didn't feel well, I was fine. I would highly recommend this to others.

Definite buy

  • By David from Mt Pleasant SC USA on Tuesday, June 30, 2009
  • Pros: Light, long lasting batteries, not uncomfortable to use while sleeping
  • Cons: Sometimes hard to "find" exact location to hit the proper nerve to be effective for nausia but not terribly so
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Having been a long time ocean cruiser for many years I have seen and tried every gadget and medication available. Many of the medicatios worked ok, but most had side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, etc. None of the pressure point wrist bands or other devices ever gave me relief in significant sea conditions - until the Relief Band Explorer. Having used it on a 1600 mile Atlantic passage to Bermuda and back to the US is worked perfectly in sea conditions as big as 20 feet. One other crew person who always got seasick used it and it provided the same relief for her as well. I think this is the best product out there by far and have started giving them to any guest who has a tendancy to get seasick.

  • Cons: Design is clunky-looking, and strap is cheap. Should be redesigned.
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I started getting motion sickness when traveling in our SUV and had been taking over-the-counter medication, which tended to make me sleepy but kept me from being queasy. • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I get extremely motion sick and need to use the Transdermal patch while in a boat or scuba diving. • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  Although I was skeptical, it worked just like my friends said. 5 minutes of "zapping" and a little gingerale and I was fine. It works!!

  • By Paula from Lakeland, FL on Saturday, August 01, 2009
  • Pros: It works!! No drugs needed; Small enough to keep on your person at all times.
  • Cons: it made me feel like my hand was asleep, but it was well worth it!
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  I was very skeptical of this, but decided to give it a try. I get motion sick if I turn my head too fast! I wore the Relief Band on the plane and didn't get sick for the first time! It worked so well, I decided I'd try whale watching at Cape Cod. We were in 7 foot swells. Before the Relief Band, I would never have gotten on the boat. I had to turn it up to 5, but it worked and I didn't get sick! One night, I wasn't feeling well. My stomach felt bad and sort of nauseous. I put the band on to see if it would help and my nausea immediately went away! This device can change your life!

  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  We spent 8 days on a boat in the Galapagos and I never had a bad day. The seas were rough at night, especially at dinner, but I was fine. I shared my band for a couple of hours with another passenger whose "perscription strength" nausia medication was not working. She was already quite ill and the band at level 5 had her feeling better in 20 minutes. It was a good test and she was very impressed.

Worked for my morning sickness!

  • By A Customer from Vancouver WA USA on Wednesday, July 29, 2009
  • Review: [This review was written for a previous generation ReliefBand model.]  This band did help with my morning sickness and I wore it morning noon and night. As long as I wore it before heavy symptoms started. That is why sometimes I slept with it on. The trick is feeling the current run down to your middle finger. That's when you know it's in the correct position. The level I kept it at was 3 or 4 dependin on how sick I was feeling. Buy some cheap water based lubricant and it will greatly help the current.

Since we live on opposite coasts, this is the problem. She has tried everything from medication to the motion sickness patch. This was the first and only thing that worked! It works... instantly

  • By ROARK from Scottsdale AZ USA on Thursday, May 19, 2022
  • Pros: Stops airsickness instantly
  • Cons: It's not comfortable. Level 5 straight up hurts.... but it's 1000% better than being sick.
  • Review: Okay... flying for 10 years... but after about 40 minutes of aerobatics, or 10 minutes of sustained turbulence I'm turning pretty green. Put me in the back seat of a car on a mountain road I'm done. This thing no joke puts a stop to that sick feeling INSTANTLY. I flew 11 hours from Kentucky to Arizona at 8000ft on one of the stormiest days this year. I knew I was going to get sick so I gambled and got this the day before....no problems. Is the electric signal comfortable... no not really...but I love it because it stops the green puking feeling within moments of turning it on. 10000% get this thing if you or someone you fly with gets air sick.
