The USAF MA-1 Flight Jacket is insulated for warmth and features:
- Water repellent 100% nylon flight satin outer shell and polyester interlining
- Strong front zipper closure with storm flap
- Two inside and two outside pockets (snap close)
- Knit collar, cuffs and waistband
- Utility/pencil pocket on the left sleeve
- Completely reversible to Safety Orange in case of emergency

Q: A good number of previous customer reviews complain about the roughness/snagging and difficulty of starting the zipper. Has this issue been addressed and corrected in your current stocks of this jacket?
A: Hi Chet, the zipper is the same as it's been. We find that most of the negative comments are from people who have just received the jacket. The zipper becomes much smoother and easier to operate over time but it can be a bit stiff in the beginning.
