Q: Are they available for pvt rotorcraft helicopter?
A: Sure! We have the Student Flight Records - Helicopter Pilot which is effective for Private, Instrument, and Commercial Helicopter curriculums.
Q: How current is the form. June 1,2012?
A: Although the new PTS requirements became effective on June 1, the only change pertaining to the Student Flight Records for Private Pilots was the Runaway Incursion Avoidance task. Rather than update the form, ASA has received clearance from the FAA to allow Instructors to utilize the blank lines within the All Areas of Operations section to ensure this new task has been completed. In fact, these blank areas have been authorized for use pertaining to any modifications or updates if need be.
Additionally, the Runway Incursion Avoidance task can be included as a part of the Pre-Flight section, as long as it is accounted for and noted on the form.
