Great product. Can't beat the quality of David Clark

  • By Greg from Sumas WA USA on Thursday, June 21, 2018
  • Pros: High quality and durable.
  • Review: I have had a set of these ear protectors for over 25 years. I was given my set from an engineer I worked under as an apprentice. They were old when given to me so I am sure mine were 35+ years old. Unfortunately they disappeared while I was working away and I can't live without them. I bought another set here and there has only been minor updates since my original pair. First thing I did was add some David Clark gel ear cups then these are very comfortable. The kill the sound no problem when I am working around the running helicopter. I highly recommend. I have really not seen any other brand come close to quality of these.

The first pair is still good after 35 years

  • By Jim from Ashland WI USA on Tuesday, September 20, 2016
  • Pros: Effective and durable.
  • Review: I bought these hearing protectors because I needed a second pair. I had previously bought a pair of the same model that I am still using. The earlier pair needed replacement ear seals and inside foam after about 25 years.

I bought a set of gel ear seals with this pair. The gel seals are more comfortable when wearing for several hours at a time. The fit was a little tight, so I bent the headband to loosen it. Noise reduction seems unchanged.

I had no difficulty installing the gel ear seals. The people who mentioned difficulty installing the gel ear seals may not have noticed that only a thin flap is pulled over the ear cups.

They last forever - a true bargain

  • By Eddie from Minneapolis MN on Friday, February 05, 2016
  • Pros: Nearly indestructible.
  • Review: I've had my 10A's for over 30 years. I'm on my third set of ear pads, and it's great that new ones still fit on the old 10A's. I upgraded to the gel pads and love my 10A's even more.

Best bang for the buck

  • By Brian from Darlington SC USA on Wednesday, March 19, 2014
  • Pros: Snug fit means excellent noise cancellation.
  • Review: It got to the point where I couldn't wear standard earplugs at work anymore, and remembered that the best noise free there is...in the cockpit. They fit well, like my pilot's headset, and they do a better job of killing work racket than plugs do.
