Excellent Book

  • By Greg from Lake City FL USA on Thursday, December 19, 2019
  • Pros: Will be reading this book more than once or twice over the coming years
  • Review: Examples provide lots of food for thought!! Book was just what I hoped it would be.

Fatal Traps showed that lots of flight hours and modern machinery will not save you from poor judgement and that complacency is a killer !

Reminded me once again that Helicopters are a lot less forgiving if doing something stupid, and that Be Ready ... stuff happens!!

  • Verified Purchase

Very well pleased w/the information in this book.

  • By Robert from Brevard NC USA on Thursday, March 25, 2010
  • Pros: Relevant information about things a pilot MUST know to be safe.
  • Review: As a helicopter pilot, I want, and need, to know about things affecting helicopter flight that are NOT taught in standard classes for helicopter ratings. It is, or should be, a normal evolution for a dedicate helicopter pilot to want to learn more about safe flight and operations of helicopters. This book covers those very important issues not taught other than through the school of hard knocks.
