  • Pros: Rugged
  • Review: Too big. Unable to flip a page from the front to the back. (I would like to keep the TPP the same size for use in flight.) To view a page in flight, you must have the entire TPP opened up. I do not have enough room in my airplane. The item needs to be four (4) rings connected by a rod about the same diameter as the rings.

  • Pros:
  • Review: It's ideal for the loose leaf approach plates! My 1st purchase of approach plates was the bound variety and, for ease of handling & to reduce cockpit clutter, the pages eventually get torn out anyway. So I thought, "why not buy loose leaf?" Then I had to think of a way to keep all the pages together. This binder does the job! I'm contemplating turning the ring set into a clipboard by fastening it to some thin material. Maybe that could be a future offering for you? An approach plate clipboard or better yet an approach plate notebook that protects approach plates as well as it keeps them together.
