B-17 Bomber Weathervane Overview:

Bring this late 1930’s heavy bomber “boeing flying fortress” to your yard or roof top with this B-17 weathervane. Designed and used primary by the United States Army Air Corps throughout WWII – Made of 14-gauge steel, this weathervane adds a touch of beauty in any home or garden setting. Design is approximately: 18 1/2" long x 8 1/4" tall. Easily installs in less than 1 minute. Intricate laser cut design with 3 protective coatings baked on to prevent rust or fading for years. Complete set includes laser cut top, windcups that have sealed ball bearings to gently turn in any breeze, an EWNS directional that tells the direction the wind is coming from and your choice of mount.

This airplane weathervane is made of 14 gauge steel and comes with a one year warranty on the finish and a lifetime warranty on all workmanship.  A 3 step finishing process is used - first they are zinc plated for better adhesion and durability, then they bake on an antique copper vein powder coat and finally a clear powder coat is applied to protect against the UV rays. 

Each airplane weathervane has an attractive, durable, and scratch resistant finish.  Sealed ball bearings are used in the windcups to keep them spinning freely with even the slightest breeze.

Mounting options:

• Garden Mount:  60" tall garden mount includes additional 30" stabilizing ground stake for easy mounting. The garden mount ships in two pieces and must be screwed together upon arrival.
• Deck Mount:  Designed to fit on top of any flat or horizontal surface. The plate measures 3" x 3" and includes a 15" rod.
• Roof Mount:  Designed to fit a standard 4-12 roof pitch, but is adjustable to fit most roofs and includes a 15" rod.
