Additional smaller external pockets are located in the front & rear as well. Will be handy for smaller items or for sliding enroute charts and maps for quick access. Love this bag

- Pros: perfect depth for the current approach charts (I always carry just a back up) and sectionals, and an ipad mini.
- Review: I have had my Pubs bag for at least five years and it looks as good as when I first bought it. The only drawbacks are that it is slightly small and ipad yoke holders don't fit in too well, and I wish they had a flap for the front outside pocket so more could be stored there. I've tried other bags (many other bags) but keep coming back to this one. Most flight bags are just too big and deep and things get lost inside. This one is the perfect depth, and along with a separate headset bag, make an almost perfect pair. I highly recommend it.

- Cons: I wish it had a strap option for shoulder carry, and a flap over the front velcro closing pocket. A flap would make it more useable.
