  • Review: Installed and configured in a 1967 Cessna 150G within an hour. I did read the manual ahead of time so I had the data ready to input. So far it has worked flawlessly with my AT150 transponder. Would buy another one.

Works flawlessly on my '46 Ercoupe

  • Pros: It works perfectly, as designed, and is easy to update/maintain.
  • Cons: None that I can think of.
  • Review: I bought my Ercoupe early last summer; the uAvionix tailBeacon unit had been installed by the previous owner. It has worked perfectly on this vintage (1946) aircraft. I often look at my flights on AdsbExchange after I get home, and the flight track is surprisingly perfect. It is almost amazing how well this tiny device works. Evidently there was a software update a while back - my A&P was able to update the device from his iPhone during my latest Annual. It is small, unobtrusive and easy to maintain. What's not to like?

Would recommend.

  • Pros: Easy install.
  • Cons: App dose not always work.
  • Review: I am an A&P IA i did this installation for a close friend on his Lance. The instructions are very thorough and the installation is easy. At the end though we downloaded the app to configure the unit and it did not work the app would freeze on the first page. So we downloaded the app on my phone an android and it worked normal. Not sure why it did not work on my friends apple device.
