Do you have a helicopter plug on your headset? If so, you will need an adapter to change to the standard dual plug for general aviation like this one: Helicopter to Fixed Wing Adapter
Using this adapter and this radio headset adapter will then plug into your IC-A5 transceiver.

A: Yes, the portable intercom should have the dual plugs coming out of it. Those plugs will then plug into the headset adapter. Your headsets will then plug into the intercom.
