  • Review: I was ready to throw my H10-40 Dave Clarks in the trash! This mic put my old headset back in service & ATC confirms 5x5. This mic does not need a muff as it cuts your speech volume down. Easy to remove old mic if you have a micro flat blade screwdriver & new mic goes on easy with supplied allen wrench.

  • Review: I needed a replacement mic element when converting a military grade DC headset to GA civilian use. DC customer support was superb, and I told them I preferred to buy it from my trusted supplier where I bought other aviation gear.     My comms have been event free with zero squawks. I have several DC headsets, some with active noise reduction. They all do the job.

  • Review: Very happy with this product. Direct fit on my old 1980s David Clark h10-40 headset. Highly recommend. It performs better than modern budget headsets that I've used.

    Installation is only removing and installing screws. You will need a small flathead for the mounting screw and a tiny (think sunglasses) flathead to disconnect the old one. This new one reconnects with an included allen key
