- Review: I love how easy it is to use! It is just the right size I do not like the other versions because they are too thick for the size that they are!! The only thing I would change is the paper type it is very thin and the High lighter shows through. I would prefer white pages instead of the newspaper type!

Readability is really substandard

- Cons: Gleim's production changes didn't reduce the cost significantly enough to warrant the compromise in readability and general utility.
- Review: Gleim missed the boat when it came to leveraging the additional size afforded by the 7 x 9 format (which Jeppesen has used for years). They reduced the type size in order to reduce the number of pages (e.g., my last Jeppesen version contains 400 more pages). In addition, Gleim committed several typography and printing mistakes: they selected a sans serif type face, reduced line leading, reduced the font size (all of which reduce readability), and they printed it on lighter paper stock (which created a lot of bleed through on the sheet that further reduces readability). In addition, they did not allow sufficient page on the binding edge and type runs into the binding gutter - another readability and utility error.
