Pros: Besides its performance. I am using this over my Bose A20s.. I like the option of a backup battery pack. Good idea!
Cons: Can't think of anything....
Review:
The equalizer compensates for my hearing losses. The result is superb tone quality. The tone quality in pilots voices stood out. Though I was not listening for it, its quality caught my attention I was surprised by it.

These are the Best Headset's ever made
By John

Pros: I can actually hear and understand everything without listening to back ground noise.
Cons: The Cost, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny of it for the Hearing Impaired.
Review:
I can hear better with my headsets configured than I can hear with my hearing aids... and by a long shot. I mention this to my Ear Doctor and showed them to him and said he was not surprised. These headsets are very well made and work way better than ever imagined.

Pros: I smiled all day at the sound of silence. The main battery pack last forever! Straight out of the box
Cons: I’m not sure how to charge the battery pack? But; have the AA pod. The cable holder clip was missing out of the box!? All this is pretty minor stuff and can be sorted out.
Review:
I sold my David Clark One-X. Bose is in serious trouble. Pilots like simple and concise; see above. Respects.

Exceptional. Purchased for son, then my older ANR failed while talking with ATC. Tried his Delta Zulu - well worth the money and will purchase a set for myself.

Worth the investment!

Pros: CO2 detection.
Cons: Nothing at this time.
Review:
Been very happy with the headset. The ANR, Bluetooth, custom hearing setup and CO2 detection features are great. I was doing a run up the other day with a full cabin and the CO2 feature let me know the CO2 level was increasing. Nice to know you have that protection going on in the background. I also like that the cords come in and go out of the same end of the battery pack/volume controller for ease of tucking it in my side compartment. I am confident the more I use it the more I will be pleased with my investment.

Review:
Pros: Sturdy design, and cord construction Built in CO Detector Flight Recording via Lightspeed App Great passive sound attenuation even without Active noise cancelling in the case of dead batteries, or forgetting to turn the unit on... Overall comfort Custom sound profile Charging port on control unit makes it easy to recharge in flight
Cons: Mic boom can only be on the left side. Mic boom is a bit short and only reaches the side of my mouth rather than right in front. Mic cutoff is higher than expected (it is [not easily] adjustable) Sound is not as clear as main competitor
This is my first ANR headset, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to in terms of actual flight longevity. I chose this headset primarily due to the CO detection and flight recording capabilities. The CO detection was nice since I primarily rent and I’m often unsure when the onboard CO detector was changed. As for the recording, I like being able to provide friends and family with a recording of special flights as well as being able to replay instructional flights to hear things I may have missed in the heat of the moment. My instructor also bought a Zulu but returned his set for the competitor as a result of the mic boom length and for sounding “like a tin can” in comparison. (He already owned and used the competitor’s product daily). I don’t have that same perspective, so the CO and recording was enough for me to stick with it (and I was just out of the 60-day return period).
The headset is comfortable, and interface is straightforward. I’ve had it turn off on me (adjustable automatic shutoff feature) a couple of times during preflight, so I just have to check it after starting. I have not played music in flight through the headset, or made a call via Bluetooth, but I don’t think it would be an issue as the sound is clear in the intercom. The recording feature doesn’t work when the intercom is off, so any discussions prior to engine start is captured through the device’s microphone so long as you aren’t connected to Bluetooth yet. (If you are connected via Bluetooth, and the intercom doesn’t receive power, you just get silence… Something to look out for if you’re hoping to capture the audio of preflight discussions.) There are frequent updates for the headset, so be sure to check before your flight when you’re confirming power status. The charging cable isn’t quite as universal as the manufacturer claims. I can’t find any other products or cables that have/use this connector. Inflight charging and a spare alkaline battery cartridge limits that immediate concern.
When connected to a auto squelch system, the headset seems to need a considerable amount of volume to activate. You’ll either have to get used to talking much louder, or research the fix they have published to increase the gain on the mic. It seems to be a pretty standard complaint. May be related to boom length, but even when extending the mic directly in front of my mouth, it seems to take the same volume to activate. This takes a lot of getting use to, or the fix prescribed by the manufacturer.
Overall, I’m happy enough with this purchase, but would probably go with the competitor if I had it to do again or when I look to purchase a 2nd ANR for a passenger.

Nice headset but no charging indication.

Pros: Like the Bluetooth connectivity and the CO monitor
Cons: No charging info
Review:
Great unit except it doesn't give you an indication when its charging. How hard would it be to add or use a led to indicate charging and state.

Great headset for most
By Stephen

Pros: Sound, comfort, cable
Cons: Short mic boom
Review:
Great headset and features. Kevlar cable is impressive. ANR is outstanding. Fantastic choice for probably 95% of pilots / passengers. Only perceived downside is the mic boom is not longer. I have a large head and constantly have to move the mic back in front of my mouth.
