  • Pros: Very warm, luxurious, well crafted, and beautiful
  • Review: For those that complain about the price... This jacket is a luxury item, not a necessity.

When I was a teenager in the mid to late 70s I worked for a very upscale leather coat store. We sold shearling coats. Not the bomber but the Marlboro Man style. Even back then those shearlings were $450-$500.00.

So in 50 years; half a century and a high quality shearling jacket has only increased in price like 2.5 times.

That is a very reasonable price

I could see spending up to $3000 for such a nice garment.

You get what you pay for. You can purchase a pair of cowboy boots for a couple hundred dollars or a couple thousand...

My point is that the cost of this beautiful jacket is very reasonable!

Okay, I have said my piece.

Flight Jacket vs Bomber

  • By Jay from Orange County CA on Thursday, September 25, 2025
  • Pros: Beautiful pelts, well made, very warm, beautifully constucted
  • Review: This is one well made and beautiful jacket.

Back in 1974 I was 14 & asked my parents for a leather Flight Jacket for Christmas. But, I meant a Bomber's Jacket... I loved and received many compliments on the Flight Jacket.

Now, three or four years ago I came across this magnificent garment and purchased right away; even without seeing or being able to try on prior.

It is truly the warmest, most beautiful jacket I have ever owned, and I am 65 years old.

Every time I wear it I receive many compliments.

Thank you for such lovely craftsmanship

Just in time

  • By Kelly from Olathe KS USA on Thursday, February 20, 2025
  • Pros: Very warm
  • Review: We recently got a below zero blast here in flyover country. I was concerned at first because the coat is very big, and I'm a big guy, but it needs to be broken in hard, it's stiff. So I sit on it, I sleep on it, it coming around. Let me tell you 20 below zero wind chills are nothing to this coat. Very warm and comfortable but breaking it in is annoying.

  • Review: This jacket is awesome. I get a lot of compliments on how good it looks. It is super heavy and warm. It kept those pilots and airman super cozy. I would definitely recommend it.

Flight Jacket vs Bomber

  • By Jay from Orange County CA on Thursday, September 25, 2025
  • Pros: Beautiful pelts, well made, very warm, beautifully constucted
  • Cons: Some mention that it is heavy...what did they expect? Maybe because I owned a z flight Jacket in my youth I was prepared for the weight...But, I like the weight; like buying any professional piece of equipment, it should be heavy
