It works fine with this combination and transmission/reception has been very clear on both ends. Q: will this work with the Vertex vxa-200
A: No, it will not. The user manual for the VXA-200 says that you need the CT-70 headset adapter which appears to be discontinued and obsolete.

Q: What size is the male end of the plug? Is it a standard 3.5mm headphone Jack? Trying to be able to use an aviation headset plugged into a computer for gaming.
A: This will NOT work with a phone or computer. If you are looking to connect a general aviation headset to a computer with a 3.5mm, then you would want to look at the PC Flight Simulator Headset Adapter.
