This unit plugs directly into YAESU FTA-250, FTA-450, FTA-550, FTA-750L, and FTA-850 transceivers, as well as VERTEX VXA-100 and VXA-150 transceivers.

Q: Can you hear yourself speak though the headset. They may call it side noise.
A: Yes, when paired with the Yaesu FTA-850L, you should be able to hear yourself speak through the sidetone function. The intercom will pass through the radio''s sidetone to your headset, allowing you to monitor your own voice during transmissions just as the FTA-850L is designed to do.

Q: Will this work with the Yeasu FTA-850L Radio
A: Yes, the FTA-850L uses the same headset adapter as the FTA-550 and FTA-750 so this will work great on the FTA-850L as well.
