Q: can you use this in a pressure washer

A: Yes, the manufacturer has advised that the Xhaust & Soot Remover is safe to use in power washers. 

Q: Is this product alkaline

A: Yes, the Corrosion Technologies Xhaust & Soot Remover is a pH-balanced cleaner that is alkaline in nature, due to the presence of sodium metasilicate and other ingredients, which helps it effectively cut through grease, grime, and soot. The alkaline formula provides superior detergency and is excellent for heavy-duty cleaning, including removing soot, grease, and carbon stains from aircraft and other surfaces.

Q: Will it clean the catalytic converter if soak overnight.

A: It should clean soot of any material! However, this product is formulated to remove soot and exhaust from aircraft fuel only. There is no guarantee that it will work with any other types pf soot from fire or exhaust from unleaded gasoline or diesel.

Q: Is the Xhuast & Soot Remover safe to use on aluminum?

A: Yes, it is fine to use on aluminum as long as you rinse it off afterwards.

Q: Will it work cleaning the inside of a turbo diesel intercooler?

A: Yes, the Xhaust & Soot Remover will work on the inside of a turbo diesel intercooler and engine.  You might need to apply a couple of applications depending on the age of the xhaust & soot that are wanting to remove.

Q: Will it clean soot on outside of house with vinyl siding and is it o.k. to use on vinyl siding

A: Yes, it will work on vinyl but we would recommend diluting it with water at about the ratio of 10 to 1.
