Pros: Sturdy and stable.
Cons: I substituted wing nut screws to more easily attach the clamp to the glairshield.
Review:
I needed a mount that would hold and not crush my glare shield. Viola! It exceeded my expectations. I’m am going to recommend it for my company once are EFB’s are issued. Very glad to have it.

Works great on EC135
By A Customer

Pros: Holds on helicopter glare shield
Cons: Could be smaller and lower profile
Review:
I thought the janky plastic screws would be a problem, but it holds just fine in a high vibration environment.

Totally useless in my aircraft. The concept is good, but it just doesn’t work for me. I have not returned it because I keep hoping I’ll find some use for it

Not for a 182Q
By ECMO4

Pros: Will probably work somewhere
Cons: Screws/ball on same side; movement limited. Clamp "arm" short, easily works off
Review:
Purchased for a 182Q. Clamp just fits over the glareshield without the rubber nubs on the screws. Placed a small metal strip to keep the screws from digging into the glareshield. Only holds if you have the ball and screws on the underside, if they are on the top side any weight at all pulls the whole clamp off. Put another small piece of metal on the bottom to extend the clamp out but doesn't hold much better. As someone else said......good idea, but not for this application.
Also, the ball and screws on the same side REALLY limit the movement. I didn't think it would be that big of deal but I was wrong.

Not secure on DA40 panel glareshield
By A Customer
from Burr Ridge IL USA
on Sunday, June 23, 2013
Review:
The clamp was not secure (glareshield too thin). Longer screws could probably create enough clamping pressure but the glareshield itself is too thin and flexible to support an i-pad mounted with this clamp. Tried to return the clamp but return was rejected due to an alleged "scratch" on the clamp.
