- Review: This pad is made to fit only by sliding onto the headband itself, by sliding the headband thru the slot in the pad. My headband does not open to allow the pad to slide on, so I glued this replacement onto the underside of my existing headpad. Second, this really offers no padding effect, but it would be better than metal if your metal headband has no preexisting headpad.
