Works well

  • By Colin from Garland TX USA on Monday, June 5, 2017
  • Review: This is an aftermarket product. It works perfectly. Why pay the Bose price when this works just as well.

I would buy this product again

  • By A Customer from Lititz PA USA on Thursday, March 3, 2016
  • Pros: Simple to use. I mean all you do is plug it in.
  • Cons: None
  • Review: The adapter works great and increases the flexibility of the headset; that is, can be used in a greater variety of aircraft. I was able to buy a used, less popular model headset at a slightly better price. I was a little concerned that since it was not a Bose factory adapter, but no worries, it works fine. Should I ever part with the headset, I feel that it should help with resale potential.

Just what I needed

  • By Jamie from Glendale AZ USA on Friday, October 11, 2019
  • Pros: Works perfectly for what I need.
  • Cons: None
  • Review: I have nothing but LEMO plugs in my airplane. Recently, I started flying part 121 and wanted to use my headset instead of investing in a new pair. I bought this because there was a Mypilotstore near my house and the had it in stock. Works perfectly. Although I can’t speak about using it for stereo.

Not what I originally wanted, but no complaints

  • By A Customer from Southern CA on Monday, February 1, 2016
  • Pros: good quality, less expensive than Bose brand adapter
  • Cons: not much less expensive than Bose brand adapter
  • Review: Since I was shelling out ~$1100 for a new Bose A20 Bluetooth headset, I was perfectly willing to pay the extra $10 for a Bose brand adapter. But the day after placing my order online, I received a phone call from a very pleasant MyPilotStore representative who said the Bose brand adapters were on backorder and asked if I'd like to order this aftermarket adapter instead. It wasn't my preference, but she assured me I could return it if I was dissatisfied - so I agreed. It seems to be working just fine and I have no complaints about its quality thus far, but for only $10 price difference I still would have chosen the Bose brand adapter if they weren't on backorder. A $15 or $20 savings (vs. the Bose brand adapter) would make it more attractive.
