It worked until it didn't...hot mike oops!

  • Pros: simple to use not hardwired in worked well while it did
  • Cons: 2 yrs of use and spring is sticking hot mike time
  • Review: I bought 2 of these to upgrade, then had them hard wired in when I needed a new comm/radio anyway.. and.. yup.. hot miked the tower for 10+ minutes on a young eagles flight I did, not knowing why I couldn't hear my passengers, unplugging and replugging head sets... then finally que'ing up tower that I was entering an extended turn to base and informed they had heard everything for the last 10 min and I literally had shut down the airport. yea... that. I've had these installed for 2 yrs. the most touched corner doesn't spring back. I am reversing the switch on my yoke until I can get a new one.

Defective out of the box
