Most of the rental seats are too low and cannot be easily adjusted. I selected the 4" bottom, not because I am very short ( 5'9"). but rather so I can even lower the aircraft seat if I need to. Most of them will go down but not too far up.
The seat is comfortable but I too wish it had 2 more inches front to back. The back, as others have said, does not attach to the orig seat, but I have had no problems with it slipping down. You could get a long piece of velcro if needed. Nothing else like this out there so it is a winner.
