Pros: Price, good build quality, makes flying Airbus aircraft a bit closer to realistic.
Cons: Insufficient friction with the throttle levers, calibration a bit tricky.
Review:
In my wish to learn more properly about Airbus flying, I'd wanted a throttle quadrant more suitable than my VFQ6 which is great for piston and turboprop but not good for Airbus. This does the job nicely, but a couple of things need improvement. The friction adjustment is just not robust enough. Having set it to almost too tight, the levers still move too easily for my liking. Calibration is somewhat tricky; in idle position it never ceases to display 'rev idle' on the display, although engines are actually idling. This might be a fine tuning of the calibration but as yet I have had no luck there. It's a very decent addition to my home simpit at a reasonable price. It's construct is plastic but of good quality. With the Thrustmaster software it pretty much plug and play except for the throttle calibration.
