The compartments are big enough for a full size eyepad, a huge mag light, and a folder and papers. The eyeglass pouch on top is way to small. Overall I love this cooler. Fits nicely on the side of my seat in a 737.

- Review: Use this as an airline pilot and also in my personal GA flying. I can fit my iPad, laptop, and magazine in the rear zipper compartment. Plenty of room for food and I keep my headset on the top zipper compartment. I may purchase one with a bigger cooler compartment just to fit even more food, but this is a great bag.

This is a great cooler/tote, but I wish it had a place to put a water bottle larger than a 12oz. bottle. I can't even attach my Contigo hot/cold container because it's too round, forcing me to have to carry it vs. place these type of items on my luggage for convenience.

- Review: Love the room and how it keeps foods cold. Wished it could withstand the roughness it gets. Needs to have better inside zipper. My old one was wrecked and wouldn't zip as it broke. Outside Bottom needs to be more durable. Always wears out, zipper for extra compartment can't be used.

Mediocre

- Cons: Non-expanding side pockets. No place for standard headset. Insufficient laptop protection/unprotected corners.. this is a cooler, hardly a flight bag.
- Review:
The concept is there but the execution is just not there. Does not accommodate most headsets - Bose A20 is really forced into it's top pocket, can't imagine any other conventional headset working here. About the only thing that would fit is the clarity/halo/any ultra compact in ear type headset, so if you're like most, plan to have another bag to actually carry your headset. The cooler section is nice. Decent space, tho smashed into if you use the side or top pocket for anything other than pens/papers as they are flat, non expanding side pockets and the to just pushed into the cooler compartment.
The biggest gripe here is potentially an expensive one - the laptop/efb sleeve on the back, it's not a truly padded and protected compartment. Exact same construction as another bag I've used that *did* result in a physically busted laptop. There's paint on the flat sections but all four corners are unprotected, single layer of nylon. Passing does not go into the stitching and the corners are not reinforced, leaving the corners of laptop exposed to impact. This is supposedly designed for flight crews while they seem to forget that crew bags take some significant abuse. - Review: I love the way it holds my coldpacks frozen for long periods of time & its roomy. I hate that the bottom compartment, that I never use, always becomes trashed. Zipper becomes frayed & bottom wares out. Should put a solid seal, like luggage, to enhance the durability.
