  • Review: Works very well. Actually a little overwhelmed by the amount of buttons available. On X-planes 11, I get to choose what function I assign to each button. I would prefer this to happen somehow automatically and realistically to match what they would really control in each plane. Suppose that would have to be in the flight sim software. Would definitely recommend.

The Best HOTAS in the budget to mid range

  • By Boston from Maryland on Thursday, September 17, 2020
  • Pros: Reliability, Responsiveness
  • Cons: NONE
  • Review: I own the Logitech 3d Pro, Saitek X52, X56, t.flight and the Thrustmaster T16000m FCS HOTAS. The FCS is by far the best of the bunch. Better sensors and better durability.

Love it so much I made a video here.

  • Review: Great HOTAS. After a few weeks, the throttle was not as smooth as it once was (have to press down on more firmly than I would prefer to get it not to be a tiny bit sticky), but that's a very minor inconvenience. Everything else works great!

Fantastic mid-range HOTAS

  • By A Customer on Wednesday, October 7, 2020
  • Pros: Accurate, perfect for VR, more buttons than you can shake a SAM at.
  • Cons: Not very ergonomic, nor is it very kind to small hands
  • Review: Having come from a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro to this, it was a massive jump in performance and features. The joystick movement is drastically smoother and more accurate, the throttle feels great, even if it took getting used to how big it is, and all in all it is a great stick. Perfect for VR headsets.

I think my biggest gripe is that the flight stick is not nearly as ergonomic as the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, and even though I knew it was coming it was a little disappointing to see only three buttons and a hat compared to the X3D's five. It would be a 5-star stick if it was more ergonomic though.

  • Review: I bought this and tried it out. Spending a day trying to program the 20 or 30 buttons and trying to remember them all really isn't my thing. I went back to the Saitech Pro yoke to keep the flying fun.
